I’m following girls that don’t even exist 😂
Great subject guys! Tom, I share your sceptism.
There are two problems:
-emerging lawsuits from source data
-the absence of the killer app and I would guess that the current players are NOT its creator
Google's Gemini can't even turn a picture into a table or csv file. It doesn't even have the functionality of an ofc. Omg, AI is mostly a rebranded digital assistant. I agree, unless it starts doing something way more it's a gimmick.
if you held this thesis, diagonal put spread or calendar put spread may be the ticket. long a further expiration put, sell shorter dated expirations on dips against it to lower your cost basis.. almost like the method of a covered call to lower cost basis. the holy grail would be to hold a put with a zero cost basis after multiple rotations of selling against it.
Great question
The sole value prop of AI is to lower employee headcount thus increasing margins. Sure some new jobs may be created, but the point is to reduce headcount and increase wealth for management. A lot of smart people are working very hard to disemploy pesky humans and their unions.
Yes, comrade! Let us together demand from big telecom corporations the return of unionized switchboard operators!
What if the public rebels against companies that use Ai to generate articles and answer phone calls. I know I wouldn't want to read a bunch of shit or watch a bunch of videos that AI generated. Forget about calling in for help with something. I want a person to speak to!
You were living in the past. They are getting so good now that you won't even know if you were talking to a human or an AI.
Google is already not sending people to read ai articles 😂
Good job outta you today
Will AI replace devs, yes. But that is nothing new and the latest LLMs won’t replace them. Look for solid returns from AI rather than speculating because the people speculating don’t understand the space.
Nvidia is about to hit all time high
Perhaps.
😂 Hat - man looks like Dave Angel @ Harryenfield 😂......
Now doesn't the ai race have origins around data collection such in the case of open AI who now opens up risk against companies like Google. So won't the large co panies have to compete for the data which would be seen as customer acquisition cost
😂😂😂love Tony!!
TSLA and PLTR are the two that can potentially monetize AI
Sure they do.
In the middle of a gold rush, NVDA, AMD, and SMCI are selling picks and shovels. But what happens if the prospectors don't strike it rich?
You don’t think Amazon Google meta-Apple and others are not going to strike it rich?
@@bigwaidave4865 They will, but not necessarily due to AI, and the question in whether the monetization will proceed at the pace anticipated.
@@bigwaidave4865so far not even close
Where is answer to how to surf a bubble?
What bubble? Nvidia is trading at the same forward PE of the last 5 years!!! 🤦🏻♂️
Forward PE is not real math. The companies are marketing to the entire population last decade has been building into that, earnings growth is going to plummet for the big guys. Use your brain!
@@thegodpill9696 what? 🤦🏻♂️
These video titles and thumbnails have gotten very clickbaity. Come on guys, stay classy. This is beneath you.
Saying Tom is looking at Ai from a trader’s perspective is wrong, he absolutely is looking at it from a business owner perspective and decision makers around the world are having the same reaction. How do I monetize this technology for “my” business. Kudos for Tom for keeping it real
AI is over hyped and underestimated
Attend a Palantir boot camp.
People have to be trained too.
The cart is definitely being put before the horse the question is the market is always early on hype but how long will the market continue to pay 30 times earnings for these high flying tech stocks when AI doesn’t justify to do so to me Nvidia is still the key one slow down earnings report and it’s going to tank along with the AI hype session
So whose job is it to delete Tony’s browser history and purge all those beautiful Ai ladies?
Trader: I overleveraged and lost my house and retirement savings. My wife left me and took the kids. I have nothing left
AI Tony: Good job outta you!
Why is UiPath struggling when its one of the few companies which is replacing human labour with Robots and AI. AI is not yet there for improving productivity like computers / technology did in the last 3 decades.
SPX to 7000 by the end of the year??
tom has now clue about the tech side of this, tony gets it.
AI gives the brain to all the technology we have created up until now. ... In a perfect world. This is a knob on the market they can turn any way they like with noise on the news. One horror story and it will be btcx.
It seems it only Tony gets it. More and more. I’m beginning to think that he is a smartest one of the group.
Tom is short. You can see the pain in his face.🤣
I love your content but I don't think you understand current "AI" it how it's being used in industry. First.. you usually don't have to retrain LLMs. You can usually use a RAG and good system prompts to get pretrainened models to do what you want and that's really inexpensive. Secondly, I don't think you understand the monetization either. You even described how you were creating a chatbot to answer your customer's questions, but don't understand how that's beneficial. You don't charge directly for that service, but your customers will be happier with faster service and you will have to hire less people to deal with your customers. Both of those are an advantage to your bottom line. I agree it would be hard to put a number to it, but that's how most things work. You don't know exactly how much return you're going to get out of an investment.
Stop worrying and make $
Yeap, it's all gunna crash like a mofo...
Maybe but for the next two years, I’m carrying bags of cash to the bank every day😃
@@bigwaidave4865 Enjoy you are very fortunate.
10 years from now you will get to a point where you can actually monetize AI, now there is no AI which could do everything without training itself. NVDIA's revenue is mostly big 7 what happens when they stop spending because they are not making enough from the weak consumer.
Your perspective is down-up, for obvious reasons. I think it's more valuable to consider the top down perspective. If you have unlimited quadrillions at your disposal, why are you investing in software and hardware? Your answer has to be - it's the easiest tool of subjugation. You will have arrogant little boys everywhere who will realize they don't need school, they have AI to provide answers. And of course the only answers you get are politically biased one way, in favour of the rulers. So it replaces independent thought and is part of the isolation agenda. Nobody should interact with bots, ever. It's inhumane and needless.
It is called the Frame Problem. Jordan Peterson explains it in detail. A biological body is needed to interact with nature. Your body is an interpretation structure. Without it you can’t interact without your environment. AI had has no biological body. For AI to work we have to live in a codified environment.
Dot com bubble all over again….. what’s the business value? The thing about AI is you can confuse it and manipulate it.
