I hope that Bristlefrost is not brought back, it would be very disappointing imo. her death is sad, yes, but thats the point. it is meant to be sad, and bringing her back would ruin the stakes, and why she died in the first place

i made my own snowtuft novella/super edition thing but its an AU
I think they shouldn't bring back Bristlefrost. That would also mean to bring back Tigerclaw star, Ashfur, (maybe Hawkfrost as I've don't remember if he's still in the dark forest or not) But to bring back Bristlefrost would also mean that she sacrificed herself for nothing. She saved the clans by killing Ashfur and if she comes back, then there's a possibility for Ashfur to do the same. Plus I think the new Super edition is learning how to go through the process of loss and coming to the final part of acceptance. Accepting that your loved one won't be coming back and that you can still live on though they can no longer. And to me that's a really special thing that everyone struggles with from time to time. Especially parents who lost their children after watching them become adults. I think that's what makes this whole supper edition special. And I want to touch on the half clan relationships. If Bristlefrost came back what would that mean for the new rule? Would it mean that things go back to before her death and they go back into secrecy or whould that rule still remain and she can live happy? I think it's the second but Idk.

I have a sort of AU of what happens after double death. I call it Afterstars, Afterstars is a place where there is no good or evil. All cats that double die or fade away (whether in the dark forest or starclan) will go here. There is no fighting, just peace. They can watch the clans, but cannot interact with them.
thats my headcannon too! in mine the oldest members of the place can see the future and give visions and prophecies to starclan
In two of my two of my sort of aus, well, if cats fade in the dark water they go to the sinkhole (my subconscious sneaking in a fnaf reference since that's my unhealthy obsession)
And when cats double die normally, or fade, they go to OriginClan, the ones who send the prophecies.

I always thought that Bristlefrost was a good character, even before her sacrifice. I think something will happen and she may be found and Rootsprings visions of him being with her were not fake because they will happen later on- maybe.
I don’t think she should come back. The point of her story is that she sacrificed herself, so if she did come back, I feel like it would take away the meaning of the story. And like others said, it could mean that the other cats who double died must be still alive somewhere (that could be interesting, but it would also mean that Bristlefrost’s sacrifice was useless, because Ashfur didn’t really die)
Also, I don’t want her to come back just to become a background cat…

I really hope they don't revive her, it would completely undo the lore they've been building up since double-death was introduced. Not to mention it would mean that Ashfur is still around, which is the reason she died in the first place? Yeah I hope they don't do that...
Honestly i would love bristlefrost to come back, I just really.. really don't want the Erin's to be the ones to write it 😅 they would definitely just ruin double death as a concept rather then make a genuine way for her to return

While watching this i came up with an idea of an AU where cats after dubble death would reincarnate just like Jay's wing to jay feather but not always to clans as we see with Jays. Ivypool could in this book see reincarnated Bristlefrost who maybe remembers somthing from clans or somewhat remembers Ivy. Sadly Ivypool knows that this isn't really her daughter and to save other cats she came with and the trapped cats she has to let go of memory of her kit to protect everyone and not only the reincarnation.
I think I need to keep that idea somewhere, it might be a good plot for a fanfiction :>
No, or at least not in the main plot, maybe in a super edition or novella or smth. Just please not so the cats know, that would cause so many plotholes
I don't really like when a series starts bringing characters back to life. Plus, what would we get out of her returning? Ivypool and Fernsong would be happy, and then Rootspring would Finleap over to ThunderClan and they'd have kits, with one being one of the next arc's POV cats. I just don't think it's worth it to bring her back, and I don't think they will. And I'm a fan of Bristlefrost
I have a head canon about Whistlepaw, since they were called a tom in the broken code I think he’s genderfluid and goes by any pronouns though I would also be happy seeing her be bi-gender
shout out to the erins for retconning dead cats being able to double die by fading from being forgotten just so they can be like "LOOK IT'S THE CLAN FOUNDERS"
I thought it was mentioned that the clan founders would still be alive because their names changed to match all the clans. So when someone thinks of the clans they technically think of them. Or the Erin's just made another mistake for the sake of the plot
@@User-egt4d5k I would not be surprised if it was for the sake of plot especially after they made DoTC retconning a bunch of the prophecy begins stuff (lionclan, tigerclan leopardclan etc) its hard to say since even the new guidebook is inconsistent and outright incorrect in places.
I would like to see Bristlefrost again, but only if she is in some sort of purgatory along with Ashfur, Redwillow, Snowtuft and all the cats who faded. Maybe the purgatory will be similar to the tunnels that Rock and Fallen Leaves are connected to

As much as I loved Bristlefrost’s character, I don’t think her being brought back would be a good thing. Her death was one of the only two times I cried during this series. (The other being when my queen, Bluestar, died.) Her death was a sacrifice for the greater good, and had an impact on the overall story more than other deaths in the series. Bringing her back would erase most of the purpose for her death.
I will be sourly disappointed if they don’t bring her back
They can give her character a return, they just need to do it right. reviving her and giving her the life she wants with Rootspring would ruin her arc and sacrifice. Let her go to Starclan or an afterlife where she can wait in peace for Rootspring.
