With director Tim Foster behind the camera, Magnetic and his team post up on 7th and Chew Street, bringing back that mid-90's feel that's been missing from mainstream hip-hop. Mag breaks down his views on his hood, the difference between music/life and reminisces about some friends that left too soon.

Those of us who been apart of the underground hip hop scene and saw when Vinnie first came in he was fake when he switched up after the first album. Due to the fact Violent by Design was a dope album i guess cats let it ride. But once Jus broke off and did the interview outing paz and Stoupe as fraudulent it was just the confirm amongst those who knew from the gate. After years of heresy about Jus, cats still didn't want to accept facts. Even after Kamachi spoke on it. I know this is hard for the paz fans but the truth is, half the reason for aotp, hell, even Jus on Violent by design as opposed to Lost Children of Babylon, who were really the first to expose him in an interview who feature on Pyscho-Social was so that paz would have hood validation since Lost Children are NuWaubians(spritual stuff). Basically he needed dope mc's to feed off and apparently bite from as well as real Philly mc's who would further boost his hardcore validation since Jus was no longer there. Not that Jus is from Philly. As you've just heard for yourself, Mag, Jus, nor Kamachi need paz to uphold their careers or abilities as competent, relevant lyricists. Most of these cats were building their craft and earning real rep long before whats his name was an equation. The reckoning has been a long time coming but the wait was worth it!
