I'm from Brazil and when I worked as a technician I asked my colleagues why plc manufacturers don't make a PLC that is as easy to program as the Arduino that uses C language? I know that for a long time ladder logic was considered the easiest language to learn, but nowadays you realize that ladder logic is limited in some points and that it is only superior when It's about drives. However, when you want to do more complex logic, for example a report, it is terrible. So why don't manufacturers combine the two languages in the same component? And that's exactly what you did! GREAT!

Great comment mate. Atleast now I know there are people who question the legacy. I am a SOftware engineer and when I started playing around with PLCs, I for the love of god could not figure out why PLCs were so outdated. I just could understand why a generic computer had not replaced the PLC as of yet. The Arduino was a good start and I knew it would be a PLC someday. This is the way forward.

Another point was that the people at Arduino have a platform like the Arduino IoT Cloud that makes monitoring an industrial plant much easier than many other software from PLC manufacturers.

I ordered one yesterday tbh it is a bit expensive and limited output features except flexible built-in connection options
