@@whatisourchildrenlearning uhhhh no they aren't. All NATO states have expanded their military budgets since Russia invaded. If anything Russia has made NATO stronger with this invasion.
@holden5478 budgets are one thing, stockpiles are the main issue. NATO have massively depleted their stockpiles and don't have the supply chain to replace them. Countries are complaining to the US that they've sent everything to Ukraine. One obvious reason for this war is the benefits to the US military industrial complex, but even that can't operate quickly enough to replace what the poorly trained Ukrainians are wasting. The result of this will be a weakened Western world - already obvious through the Economic stagnation and energy crisis in Europe, but also crucially a weakened Western military as many countries struggle to recoup what Ukraine squanders.
Still they say Slava Ukraine.... Ukraine is winning! Sure.... winning indeed.
