This video really helped explain vertical asymptotes since I was having trouble in math. Thanks Krista King!
You're welcome, Miel!
Vertical asymptotes were not high on my list of things to understand, but you helped my complete understanding of them in a quick manner. Thank you!

This video does not help if the denominator is a trinomial with an x^2 coefficient other than 1. That's what I am struggling with.
thank you very much !! you are amazing
+Nadjib Niyonkuru You're welcome, I'm glad you liked the video!
I'm confused with the last example. You can also cancel the x+4 on the denominator if you factor the x² +4x+16, right? Pls help mee
Nice explanation
Awesome video!!
Thanks, Shreyas!
krista king what is LN? Or natural ... idk.what is that term?
natural log (ln) is a logarithm with base e! :)
thank you
what if the denominator is (x⁴+2)? x is gonna be ±√(-2), how does that work?
awesome video but do not skip steps please especially when squaring the other side.
What is the meaning of R.D.Although I know V.A.
姜炜veen 沈joh R.D.="Removable discontinuity".
what if the denominator was under root .. what shall we do .. pleeeeaaaassssee heellpp
u dont thats not a rational function
This is great I got this before a test
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
thank u sooooooo much this helped a lot ill recommend it\
Thank you, I'm so glad it helped! :)
God bless you and your family and your friends and ur whole generation.
+Aeryn Rogue Thank you so much!
I didn't know when function in not defined somewhere we call it a v asymptote😁😒
your a god
*salute* thx
