Yes more N.Flying love. Glad Seunghyub and Hweseung's efforts while the younger 3 are enlisted are getting more eyes on the band. They are so fun at concerts. As a long time FNC groups fan we are blessed with 3 amazing idol bands in N.Flying, CNBLUE and FTISLAND and it's awesome when they perform with each other at FNC Kingdom concerts.

So happy they made it onto the channel! I was the one who introduced you to them via the Patreon stream (all three times lol). In this case they’re using hot potato as a metaphor for their “fame” or celebrity as something that cannot be cooled of easily since a hot potato stays hot for a long time. Also fun fact, before they had a lightstick, them and the fans (N.fia) would decorate potato’s on sticks and use them as light sticks lol. Also the vocalists name is Hweseung.

I remember watching Hweseung in pd101 s2, and he was the only FNC trainee and I was super in to SF9 (still am) and he looked so much like Woohyun(infinite). But then his vocals were that level too and he covered "Be mine"....I was like okayyyy, gotta keep an eye on him haha

Discovered this band after watching the K-drama: Lovely Runner. Vocalist Seunghyub is also an actor who played as a band member and bestfriend to the lead actor Byeon Wooseok (Ryu Sunjae). N.Flying also sang the OST Shooting Star, and member Hwesung did another OST (cover version) I Think I Did. Was binge watching all their music videos and loved their songs. Also, happy to have found a video of Hweseung doing an episode of Secret Duet with EXO Chen 💞 Gosh, my EXO-L heart is full, these guys are so talented!!!
Aside from N.Flying, I'm also into K-bands like Day6, The Rose, and Løren. You might want to listen to them too!!!

7:12 The potato is a metaphor but also a pun! Gamja for potato and namja for man/guy.
Also this is not a flex song, they're actually dissing themselves for their grandiose dreams, at the time of Hot Potato's release they were pretty nugu (nobodies essentially, in kpop terminology) and the video depicts them as a financially struggling garage band with no actual jobs, while daydreaming of fame. We see them imagining holding money bills instead of the actual overdue bills they have yet to pay, or imagining the empty jar of peanut butter is a big trophy. And at the end Jaehyun signs a document for consent to sell one of his kidneys bc they're so pressed for money.
They did get their push to fame with Rooftop, written by their leader Seunghyub, it's their most popular song and got them their first music show win, I'm pretty sure they did win Band of the Year at some point as well. They're much more well known now, and not very low in the popularity rankings of idol bands overall, and right now their 2 frontmen Seunghyub and Hweseung are giving it their all keeping promotions active while the 3 instrumentalists are serving in the military.
