Please excuse my intrusion. I’m 70 now and my entire life I’ve been drawn to identify with the spiritually I see and feel that emanates from these special and sacred ceremonial gatherings. The singing, drumming and the people’s good and powerful energies created, still emanate, even though this event has happened some time ago and is only a recording. Watching and listening closely, I felt a wave of emotions. Tears flowing i felt I’m spiritually lifted...Even though I will most likely never be allowed witness to these amazing gatherings first hand...I felt most happy just knowing this was real, is real and lives on, strong... Thank You for opening this window...
TheJimford I’m praying for you to seek Creator God and accept His Son..we call HIM “Wonnna Mey” In My language my Tribe is Maidu and Miwok...God Bless you today.
Thank you for sharing! I'm so proud of my son (Joshua Faulks) for taking the initiative to really get in tune with his heritage! Had me in tears throughout this video. 😀
I have a question, Up until the early 80s girls never sang with the men in my tribe. I was wondering if it is the same for you guys too. Beautiful ceremony. Thank you for the video
@@TGNUFOO hey wait a minute I'm nooksack too. Women sing now. But not back when my mom was growing up. Not men and women together, if women sang they sang only with other women.
No apologies. I have almost an entire video like that from when Theron Parker brought in a canoe at the Elwha in 2005. You can here the guy next to me screaming the entire time, "WWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" That's what it's all about.
