Keith is dressed like a film major that judges you for not knowing about his new favorite foreign film.
Yes lol
The Eugene cut out behind Miles gave me a heart attack.
Immediately went to the comments looking for someone saying this. Theres only 5 comments rn and i still found it
Immediately came to comments to say this.
Same
came here to write literally this
Same!! Too real
Zach’s “give him 50%” advice is sooo legit actually
"Give him 50%" is game-playing IMO... My advice to Quacky is to TALK TO HIM, ask clarifying questions, ask him directly, "What does 75% mean to you?", "What are things that are ok to do vs not ok to do e.g. Can we date other ppl, How often should we meetup (weekly, daily etc), How much texting is okay, Is sleeping over okay, etc. etc.". Collectively decide what feels good to both you vs assuming things, dating should be fun and not a guessing game, and if your are not compatible, its ok to end things!!
When we are young and still coming into ourselves, t can be really hard to ask direct, clarifying questions to our friends/partners/dates. It's ok to seek advice from others but eventually, clearly communicating with those who we are in relationships with (even if short) can be really helpful and make the time together enjoyable and worth it!
@@naxp42 I mean if the guy actually wanted a relationship then I’d say yes absolutely, but if this guy just isn’t interested in that, then I don’t think giving him less energy is game-playing, it’s just prioritizing your own needs and time. She shouldn’t be doing it to make a point, but simply to prioritize herself and not over-invest in someone who’s not going to match her energy, y’know?
@@nataliep856 Yes, totally fair to not invest energy in someone who isn't fully interested, I hear you! I guess what I am trying to say is that it's worth it to communicate and get clarity on things vs the "oh you giving me 75? fine I'll give you 50 then!" game. Asking clarifying questions also often reveals if the person is really worth it IMO. There is no one way of being in a "relationship", if they want something casual that is only 4 months and it's mutually agreed on, that's okay and valid. (Also do we know if Quacky uses she/her pronouns?)
The silence after sayin Ned wasn’t there today… priceless
Okay there were lots of (good) jokes about Miles' advice but I actually love it. Why do we shame ourselves for EATING FOOD? Eat the damn muffin. Live your life. Like obviously the advice is normally a lot of memes but there are more important things in life than whether or not you eat a muffin for breakfast ya know?
TLDR, go Miles, you're killin it
sometimes i feel bad for miles and the way the guys shut down his food choices. miles, food neutrality is absolutely okay and you're right, you can have a muffin without feeling guilty. and you should.
Agree. No one should feel guilty about enjoying a treat every once in awhile.
I want to like this comment more than once. A healthy relationship with foods is more important than only eating healthy foods ❤️❤️
Hard agree, Miles rocks, food shaming sucks
Yes or how they just kind of forget him/don’t view him as one of them when he is clearly the backbone of the podcast. Miles brings so much to the table I hope they all know that
I have advice for Miles... Bake your own muffins (esp ones with oats) and no longer feel guilty about eating muffins for B-fast! In fact, feel proud 😎
When Keith started talking about unhealthy muffins and Miles just went 'THE WORLD IS ON FIRE' I felt that. Just the other day was thinking about how everything's so fucked, and yet there are people worrying because they gained a few pounds during the last two years. But I get it as well; when everything around you is out of control, your body is something you feel you can have control over. However, you should never feel *guilty* about eating. Especially if you're going through a rough time. Health is a pretty wide spectrum, and you're not going to go from 'healthy' to 'seriously problematically unhealthy' from indulging in a few food pleasures. A few pounds extra probably won't really impact your quality of life. If food brings you joy, allow yourself that joy. Eat that muffin.
considering that many, many people post comments talking ab how much keith helps their ED, it’s seems really insensitive to say “well, just *stop worrying* ab your body bc that’s just stupid!!”… coming from one of those people that suffers from eating disorders, including one that has absolutely nothing to do with body image. it’s not as simple as “well, i’ll be totally fine!!” especially when it’s not ab your body
@@pixie9499yesssss I agree and relate so hard to this
Miles, Zach, and Keith are the epitome of "guys i would trust to take care of my drink"
Advice That Will Go For Miles actually really resonated with me this week, made me genuinely laugh and smile and not feel bad about having a god damn muffin today 🧡
Great to see Eugene on the podcast.
😆
Was originally listening to this on Spotify but had to switch over to YT because Keith kept saying how good looking he is with the pillow.
Can confirm.
The tag line for this pod could be “is this the podcast? Are we going?”
Zach and Keith really holding down the Try Guys
where have Ned and Eugene been?
@@aus__ I can speculate. Ned has a newborn. Months ago they said that Eugene was working on special projects don't know if he is still doing that etc.
I am LOLing at the underwear convo and Keith and Zach explaining men's underwear to women when we're the ones literally buying your underwear :D
Ok but what are the best brands of men’s underwear to buy?
39:00 you guys have no idea how awesome this convo is for transmasculine fellows like me, who worry about passing at urinals. I have stp's (stand to pee) devices that would visually pass, but I obviously have to hold it it place, and knowing that I'm not the only one with their nuts out randomly is so relieving (albeit for very different reasons and with different methods).
You guys managed to bring a ray of light into this dark, dark day that we're having here in Europe. Thank you.
I am humbly asking for Thirsty Thursday videos. Ned's question would be a good starting point.
Miles's theme song was absolutely wonderful today!
Keith "we didn't even intro the show!"
Miles "Hey welcome"
Omg I saw the cardboard cutout of Eugene that's behind Miles and was confused and freaked out for a second 😆
“He’s giving you 75%, you give him 50%” XD this is actually the best advice though
The irony of Zach forgetting the word 'baked'...
keith is giving "the food inspector from ratatouille "
To the coed with the senior boyfriend. My advice is don’t set yourself up for failure. If you think you’ll catch major feelings for him, don’t do it. If your someone that can keep it casual, then go for it but be honest with yourself about how you process those things.
The convo about bathroom stuff was extremely interesting to me as a non penis haver, very enlightening.
I’m not an dietician but Zach, please, do not eat tuna everyday. I’m pretty sure eating too much tuna can lead to mercury poisoning.
God I love this podcast, I put it on and clean my house and get such a sense of family and peace. I have been crying about Ukraine and I just needed this feeling of home. I puked 3 times the other day because I didn't notice a dish had Carmel color. There is something very nice about not feeling alone in my IBS and celiac journey. I loved the cold open, I love the turtle neck and I miss the synthesizer... this was just what I needed today, thank you for continuing to produce content.
I'M DYING! Why do you guys think that women need underwear explained to us!?!?!?! 😂🤣😂🤣 Do you think we all grew up on Themyscira?!
I am married to a man and I had no idea their underwear had a fly as well LOL. I was only aware of the pants fly. But we do our own laundry so maybe everyone else was already aware!
@@xSilverxshadowx Haha well then I stand corrected!
I'm with you on that! I've done enough laundry in my day to have it figured out!
I fucking live for this comment.
@@blairelliott 😉👉
These episodes of the trypod are my absolutely favourite. General nonsense, no real solid plans, and a musical surprise that makes me laugh so hard that no sound comes out at my desk. Incredible. (Also, the Eugene cutout scared me multiple times!)
So, I looked up “The Amazing Johnathan” because I love me some Docs, and he passed away on 2/22, so RIP to him, and Imma check this doc out…
I am a Professional Chef, A Patty melt is traditionally, Rye bread, Swiss cheese, grilled onions, a burger and then the whole sandwich is grilled!
Umm how long has that Eugene cut-out been behind Miles... It freaked me out at first... Then it just became normal. Has it always been there or is it new?
if I ever wondered what a boys sleepover would be like, this episode answered me
Absolutely here for this Keith and Zach combo! 🤣
I wonder if Zach could slowly fix his pepper allergy like that lady with the carrots... being a sorta-vegan with chronic pain allergic to capsicum is just too unfortunate.
Often when people have food sensitives/mild allergies, more contact with that food can make reactions worse or turn a sensitivity into a full on allergy. Also not sure that with his other health issues that he should put that type of strain on his body unless it’s under doctor supervision.
@@rebeka6078 It was under doctor supervision and ended up working. Obviously anecdotal and not for everyone but a nice idea to consider with medical guidance for sure! I've also had young family members start to SLOWLY introduce peanuts after having an allergy. Since allergies are the body overreacting to something perceived as a threat and there was that bad advice going around for many years for pregnant people to avoid peanuts, plus an overdiagnosis of 'cillin allergies, it seems like there's a lot more investigation into possible treatment with controlled exposure. Not an expert by any means though, just a fascinated curious person!
@@rebeka6078 Desensitization therapy is real and very effective but so is the phenomenon you mentioned. The differences between sensitizing and desensitizing a mild allergy via exposure are A) Starting with a dose BELOW the level of symptoms and B) Consistency, taking the same amount every day until you're ready to move up to a slightly larger dose.
The challenge of achieving these is why it should be done under the supervision of a doctor even if your allergy is below the level of being actually dangerous.
However, Zach might be describing an FPIES reaction*, which is where the cells along the digestive tract react directly instead of mediating their immune response through IgE. This may not respond to desensitization, it has been the cause of desensitization therapy failure in some studies.
*I am not a doctor and I cannot diagnose anyone, I study biology and allergic syndromes run in my family.
@@jayy7754 very interesting! Thank you for that!
News of Amazing Johnathan's passing literally broke late last yesterday/today. Eerie on the timing. He was a hilarious entertainer (as are you guys).
32:00
I think you're describing Humans of New York, HONY! He takes random people on the streets of NY & finds their fascinating stories in a relatively short time. It's not video recorded, but there's usually a picture with each story.
I think someone on tiktok is also doing this concept
As someone who's also had no improvement to my back pain or tension migraines with weekly physio sessions and daily exercises (I usually give up at the 6 month mark out of frustration), I'd like to hear more about Zach and Miles' journey with physio. I think I've heard them both express similar outcomes now, and as the guilt of "I should really start physio" sets in again, I think it would be invaluable to hear them talk about how it may not have helped their pain, but perhaps it's done something else important for them.
I go to the chiropractor multiple times a week (until my muscles are loosed up which takes a couple months if I don't stay up on it. I should be going at least once a month after getting it all worked out) and get a massage at least once a month. I carry lots of stress and tension on my upper back/shoulders/neck and it causes pinched nerves which lead to my migraines. It does take a bit before you notice a difference because it's very gradual but there is a change
Myles describing Keith's lips as DSLs 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The fact that Miles has a basket on a shelf behind him😂
I glimpsed at the vid at the wrong time and was thinking, “Wtf is Eugene doing back there?!?!”
Your random person documentary is just an extension of “humans of New York” and it’s spectacular
As someone without a penis, I couldn't be more fascinated by the "over the fence or through the gate" discussion.
I hope that one day that there's a Try Guy video where Keith tries to teach Zach how to cook.
I just love the chaotic energy of this pod hahaha it’s why it’s still my favourite
Always loved the try guys. But I LOVE the trypod! Got to know Zach on a whole different level. Zach and Keiths adventures in stoner world would really be peachy keen
I love how Zach was offended on behalf of goblins and trolls. Get it right, Miles
My favorite part is when Miles said something very inspiring and then Zach blew his nose wildly in the background
I laughed so hard! That ending was everything i needed for today.
I really enjoyed Miles' intro today. (Especially Keith and Zachs add-ons)
💕💕💕
This podcast has actually become really good. 👍
Thanks, cry-laughed multiple times, especially the outro song. Eugene cutout in the backround was nice too :D
The Advice that'll go for Miles song this week slapped and calmed me simultaneously.
“Patty Melt” is a great drag name 🤩hahahahaha Also… is anyone else concerned about how much tuna Zak is eating..? Cuz of the mercury levels? It’s none of my business. Just caught my attention. 🥺
We definitely need more fun debates like the zipper one! 😂 also learned more about boxer breifs lol ty
As soon as I heard the conversation regarding underwear I was curious what my husbands technique is. I was pretty sure he was a Keith/Zach technique but he is in fact a Miles! He too is concerned his pants would be down around his ankles at the urinal! Couldn’t believe it and then he got upset when I had a laugh all to myself :)
Keith admiring himself brought me serotonin, love the self love
Thanks for the LA advice. I'm headed there in April for the Trixie and Katya show
Not sure if anybody else in the comments got back to y'all about the tax q at the end of "why don't they just charge us?" and the answer is that TurboTax and H&R Block Lobbyists pay to make sure taxes remain difficult so people keep going to them for tax help (and lining their pockets in the process).
Miles: "I'm talking about m*ff diving. Eat a muffin."
Keith in a turtle neck is a MOMENT! Reminding of me his look in the "Try not to laugh" section of the 'Keith Transforms Into Eugene's Worst Nightmare (A Chair)' video!!
Literally went to LA last weekend where was this pod last Thursday! We’ll be back
When Miles boosts a banger like that for his intro, he's gotta put the Soundcloud link in the description. It's killing me that I can't find it.
tysm!! 💕💕💕
@@ingrid.j.j Can you link your SoundCloud for this bop? *desperately wants*
Thank you for cleaning up the shelf. That was stressing me out for a few episodes. The baskets look nice. Lol
27:18 ZACH SAME!!!! And I have no idea why!!!!! I’m not even like a neat person and my notebooks always aren’t clean either lol
Oooh, nice Modest Mouse reference at the end there, Zach!
"Ice age heat wave, can't complain."
As someone who was raised here, I can’t believe you missed walking and biking by the hermosa beach also the pier Manhattan beach pier, you can eat tacos through all the city, you can got to the a big restaurant with a mariachi at the mercado on the third floor in Boyle heights, drinks in Inglewood like at martins cantina. In Gardena their is so much Asian food, you can support a lot of local businesses and their tons and tons of plazas full. You can eat pupasas in Hawthorne. Mariscos in Santa Monica. I wish I could spend a day with the try team and show y’all around because I love that y’all live here 🥰
Keith should do "Eat the Menu: Ike's Love & Sandwiches." I know it's a CA-specific chain, but they've got sooooo many vegan options, so he could have some plant-based pals join him :)
Keith did a Nicks on Beverly eps which was cool, but a good veg based chain is Veggie Grill. Hope he tries that!
Keith, if you're ready this... the outfit was spot on 👌 Smart choosing the green turtleneck over the black
This is my happy place, it's been an awful day. This is the only thing today that has made me smile.
I glanced over and EUGENE OMFG I am shook
someone should tell Zach about mercury poisoning
wow the last 5 seconds had be LAUGHING im ded guys, thanks for that "lets sing"
Okay will absolutely volunteer for the boring person documentary. Good luck making my normal office job, early bed times, and predictable lunches exciting!!
I'm glad this is the 150th episode of the Trypod.
Zach I promise you most women know how a fly works there is no need to explain it to that extent
Woot woot 🥰 I love you guys!!
Hey so coming from the chronically ill and allergy community @korndiddy have you though about MCAS? It is very common in those of us with lots of Autoimmune diseases especially of the inflammatory variety, and chronic pain world. With love from someone with a laundry list of chronic illnesses, allergies, and pain. 💕
I wasn't paying attention for a minute and I blew my my nose at the exact same time as Zach 🤣
The documentaries about random regular people was a segment for many years in CBS news. It was called Everybody Has A Story. You can watch them in YT.
Ah man, Tuna melt you gotta make full on tuna salad, popped on an English muffin with cheese on top, toasted to perfection.
The first time I went to LA on my own was a journey. I had no idea what area I should book my accomodation in, so I just picked something that looked alright, had good reviews and was decently priced. Turns out it was in South Central. Did not leave my room after dark. That was a long 5 days. Also I didn't rent a car so I was taking the bus to downtown and then using the underground/metro for everything. I also walked a lot, which drew a lot of looks, lol.
why i love the podcast is bc the try guys stop acting and are truly just a bunch of chaotic and funny guys hanging out
I love patty and tuna melts!
I totally respect Miles needing to pantomime and reflect on what he does. I recently read an article about how some women wipe front to back, and some back to front. I started getting up in arms reading it, thinking aloud about what and how I do it, and then I went to the bathroom and realized what I do is totally different. Hard to reflect on potty habits since it's so often a get in and out situation.
Miles singing at the end is American Idol worthy.
Omg the undies discussion!!!! This is so funny cuz just today my mom got a bunch of boxer briefs from my dad to donate. I looked through them cuz the patterns were cute and I could wear them as shorts. Get this: every pair had a slit cut into them, (not even off to the side, down the middle on the front!) because there was no fly built in 😂😂😂😂😂 my dad added his own fly 😂😂😂😂😂 I guess he regretted his choice cuz the undies looked barely worn hahahaha
Love an informative pod, the urinal bit confirmed that I was very much ok not being around men anymore 👌✨
The first time I saw Eugene in the back was about 12 minutes in & I nearly had a heart attack
The potty talk?! I’M DEAD. I learned so much.
Nice video bro
I love these guys😂❤
49:09 I love the honesty 😂
@miles *I am not a doctor* I suffered from chronic back pain for three months at the start of the pandemi lovato - what helped me a lot was a mix of PT and massage therapy. We gotta break up that scar tissue that's been building up for the last almost 30 years. Like literally taking a large guasha thing and digging into my back kind of breaking up.
Ngl I feel like learning how they approach a urinal, is so fascinating and the best way to learn about a guy friend.. I will Definitely ask my guy friends how they do this from now on.
3:40
Zach: "I forget the word 'baked'."
Me: ".........really Zach......🌿🤫😏
I like how Miles just gave up on getting a decent quack out of Zach. 😂
The Amazing Johnathan passed away... R.I.P. to a comedy magic legend...
I'm only just catching up.... I save and binge watch a lot. Still looking out for a "XX minutes of miles working out for his well being" video. I don't want him getting hurt, so semi serious video.
The idea about interviewing a random stranger…..there was some guy a long time ago who did a series saying that “everyone has a story”. He’d ask what makes them interesting, they’d say “nothing”, he’d talk to them long enough and always found something because… “everyone has a story”.
Doctor Who's speech vibes 💕
Pillow, party for breakfast...omg I'm stumped
Muffin for breakfast. But something censored) diving? I'm intrigued. I want to see if they uncensored the pod on Patreon.
I had to rewind when Zach said “my ankles” cuz I heard something else 🤣
The, how you go to the bathroom conversation was hilarious, informative, and... I hate wording it like this, wanted?😂😂 I saw a meme that said, “Do guys hold their penis like a joint or cigarette when peeing?”😭😂😂😂 And that made me wonder how they whip it out at the urinal and y’all answered it perfectly😂😂😂😂
