You should enjoy your stay and in July it gets very hot but the heat can be hidden by the wind so make sure you have sun screen on. Some amazing bars, cafes and restaurants. We usually hire a car to see the rest of the Island.

I’m glad you enjoyed it, it’s our favourite. We were in Lanzarote in February but it doesn’t have the same atmosphere as Caleta. We need to return asap.

Looking to go in October, hoping the weather good to get a tan? Wasn't really sure which of the islands to pick as not been to any of them. Suggestions
We have done October and found it still to be warm. Remember that most days on the island you will get a breeze so still put lotion on as it’s easy to get burned. I’ve done Lanzarote but my heart is still with Fuerteventura and especially Caleta de Fuste. Hire a car and discover the whole island and chase the sun. Enjoy the Canaries which ever one you choose.
hi iam thinking of booking vip villas caleta dorada for me and my 3 kids , 13 , 16 , and 18 year old iam booking a 3 bed villia , cant find much on it and the all inculsive do you know it and have you any sugestions
We love Caleta, has everything we look for in a holiday be it winter or summer. Amazing places to eat and drink along with activities. My preference is the scuba diving.
We used to spend three months a year in caleta de fuste but last year we tried Egypt and will never return to caleta de fuste it's outpriced itself prices have doubled and Egypt has far better accommodation and food and is about 50% cheaper and no calimas 😎
@@jacquidavestravels we go to hurghada and stay in the pickalbatros aqua vista resort and yes there are Russians but any we have met have been absolutely lovely people and very friendly
No I don’t think so, coming from Scotland ourselves we have never encountered one. You certainly won’t get a proper Haggis as the true recipe is not allowed to be imported. Why not be adventurous and try the local traditional foods.
The first time for us was in February 2004 and we stayed in the Barcelo apartments near the boardwalk. We have certainly seen some changes over the years like your selves. Chipmunk mountain when there was nothing but waste land up there. Keep enjoying your second home.
Sorry to hear that, we have only been going from 2004, so 20 years but understand it's changed a lot over the years, some for the better ansd some for the worse
It's cheap & nasty in that part of fuerteventura, taken over by the cheap n cheerful beer & egg /chips brigade. Try corralejo as its just a nicer place to be!

just came back from there - can see our room at 2:31 !! :-) Nice watching the Ground Squirrels there, and also quite a bit of wildlife in the area.

Excellent video! I visited Lanzarote, Fuerteventura is on the list. Let's see, for now I'm looking for accommodation somewhere close to the airport.
Hi Caleta is only 6.5km and a huge range of accommodation for all prices. Check some of the Fuerteventura and Caleta de Fuste facebook groups.

Me and wife went there last june. In caleta loved it great place, the quietest of the canaries imo😊

The bars are changing hands regularly so it's hard to say. We used to love the Dog and Duck and Cafe del Town for day time.

Trouble is now it's starting to get a few Feral Brits there.
A lot of English teens riding dangerously on e scooters as well .
You get them all over the canary islands to be fair.

I'm sorry I'm not familiar with that hotel a we always rent villas and town houses. You could try some of the face book groups for Calleta de Juste.
Hello, how hot was it?
We've just got back from 10 days in Caleta (24/04/23-4/05) and temps were 24-28 with light winds on some days- totally wonderful. Loved it.
We love Caleta, has everything we look for in a holiday be it winter or summer. Amazing places to eat and drink along with activities. My preference is the scuba diving.
Going there in June cannot wait. Canaries often doesn't fail me for weather. Was on Lanzarote for 22 Xmas and was lovely. 🎉

That’s interesting to know, I like Egypt mainly for the diving. Where in Egypt are you and are there a lot of Russians now going there.

Been going to caleta for 30 years our second home

Been going here for 40 years…it’s been ruined…it use to be a lovely small Spanish resort with only a handful of apartments/ Hotels.

At the time the video was made, the flights and accommodation was really cheap but not now, especially in the holiday period for schools.
