How were you able to miss so many red lights? I lived in that area since the 60's and remember Route 59 being only two lanes with a speed limit of 65mph.
I was thinking the exact same thing while I was filming this road. It was nice to skip through all those lights! I then was thinking "this will make a great VirtualRoad!" I knew the road was probably a rural route at one time but wow 65mph speed limit on a two-lane road! That's not something you see a lot on rural roads! 55mph is what you usually see.
Very nice ride. I’ve taken this route a few times. Recently I went out to St. Charles, and I just took Irving to 59. Route 59 is pretty cool too
