Here We Go Again, the lp by the Trio, was the first album I ever owned. I was wild over it, played it a million times, and loved every track. Sometimes I wonder if any subsequent album ever bested it. Maybe The White Album 🤔
Listened to Kingston Trio, Brothers Four, Tom Paxton, Pete Seeger and Peter, Paul & Mary back in the 50s and still love that music till now. My brother and his best friend sang Folk songs from the 50's till my brother past in 2008. They sang along with a African American gentlemen, Ted Brown in Kent State bars in the early 60s. I always said the music of the late 50s and 60s was the best.
It is great to see the Trio again. I have been listening to their music for 40 some years and never get tired of it. Sorry we lost Dave, Nick and John. I hope Bob is happy where he is now. Wish I could have seen them in person all those years ago. Thank you!
I old enough to had the blessings of seeing these "Guys" in 1960 in Feb. In Whicita, KS. They were the best. The great 'folk singers' in the late 50's early 60's were numerous, but for the spent watching a live performance, this bunch had it down pat.

Honoring Bob Shane b. 2/1/34 - d. 1/26/20 It was with great pleasure and a great honor to have known and worked with the original Kingston Trio and their legacy today is firmly intact. As the exclusive agency for the heirs we at Producers, Inc. enjoy seeing the original energy and sound kept alive and well for sold-out audiences across the country. I enjoyed many hours of fun and adventure with BOB SHANE. He ran the organization and kept the TRIO and legacy active these many years. Thank you, Bob for your loyalty, perseverance and love of folk music and its impact world-wide. We will continue our responsibility to keep your music alive. You will be missed. Wow, I wasn't around when they were popular, but I believe that this captures the upbeat essence of the band. ALmost brings me chills, their talent is so great. Are all the pics/clips of the original band, cuz some don't look like the original.
OMG after each song comes an AD that lasts forever, is this the way to encourage listeners to subscribe premium? utube used not to operate this way....
I saw what was left of them about 5 years ago maybe more... we were the youngest ppl there by about 4 decades lol...got super stoned it was great. The last member alive came on stage with his oxygen tank for the last song...which was Tijuana jail of course!

Love this era... simple, important, no digital anything, no amplifiers, only guitars, microphones & matching shirts! Recorded beautifully...
a real treasure.. My dad loved them and i am so glad i was exposed to them the current music is insane
I remember them in the late 50's the Kingston Trio singing a jingle for 7-UP soda. Anyone remember that?
a wonderful group of talented musicians whose harmonies make their music an absolute joy to listen to.
"Well, I'm here in the closet. Oh Lord, what will I do?" Absolutely priceless!!! You just cannot make this stuff up!
When this song was written neither "the closet" nor "gay" were associated with homosexuaity.

Saw the original Trio in Toledo in late 1960...what a great night! Broke my heart when Dave left Bob and Nick the next year.
I once saw a Kingston Trio tribute band introduce this as "a song that didn't make much sense in 1959, and still does not."
Thanks for putting this together. Love the Trio.
Wonderful, beautiful music!
