      @Bihasa08 what I did was to create box templates. Gathered the logos via Google and used it in Photoshop. Printed them and wrapped individually around different sizes of foam boards.

      @@lexscs Hi! The measurements stated above are pretty much all the major dimensions of the project, that should be your guide so you can fine tune the other things like windows and stuff depending on how you like it. Glad you liked it! Cheers!

      @liv2grind409 Hi! When I’m trying to replicate a true structure like this one, I look at reference photos and compare it with my true 1/64 scale cars and figures. You can consider the sizes as rough estimates and maybe I’m just lucky that it turns out looking okay most of the time. 🙂

    Will painting with regular paints and using cardboard be ok?

    • @mrltnj
      @mrltnj  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hi! I’d say use hobby grade acrylic paints for ease of use. Regular paints often are too thick and difficult to manage. Cardboards are okay too, I actually started using those when I started the hobby, now I use foamboards as they have a smooth and flat surface and comes in different thickness. Ultimately, you can start with materials that are easily available to you and improve from there. Hope this helps!

      @mrltnj hi there how do you get your acrylic paint to stick to your board?is it the sponging?because when I paint with acrylic on it it spreads everywhere and doesn't finish as I'd like I notice spray works well though. Also do you spray a clear coat and is it needed. New to the craft, thank you for the video.

    • @mrltnj
      @mrltnj  9 месяцев назад +1

      Hi @kenreignz5297 Yes I do it through sponging which leaves an uneven, textured finish which i personally prefer. What I noticed when using acrylic paints on these boards is you usually have to do 2-3 coats of paint with 1-2 minute intervals. So don't worry if the board is still visible on the first coat. Quality of the paint matters too! I prefer using vallejo as they are very good pigment paints. Spraying the board with primer can also help big time and ensures your paint adheres better. As of now I dont spray clear coat on the dioramas, though you can always do it to prevent them from damage. Hope this helps!
