That was the one Palette I couldn't compare it to was the naughty Nudes. I didn't use that Palette much and I gave it to my friend Gabe when he started his Channel 😁 and I agree 100%, this is definitely a Palette with great depth and would be great for people of color . Every time I see this palette I think of Mel and how much she would have loved it. The first palette was part of her favorites from that month it came out and she was wishing for one with rosy « pillow talk » shades. You look stunning in every look, thank you for your review it sold me on it. 😊

This is a pass for me. I can see that the formula is excellent, it's just the colour story - I'm done with the pinky/red eyeshadows. I would love to see Patrick create a cool toned or a grungy palette, with different shades to choose from. If I was interested in these colours, I would definitely buy this palette, rather than the latsst CT quad - it just makes more sense to me. Much love to you 💗💗💗💗💗

Hey tara maybe you could do some different eyelooks? ...tbh they all look the same...lighter shiny colour on lid darker in the crease...would love to see some different looks
The biggest difference between CT and PT has to be the deepest matte. Charlotte's go almost as dark but not nearly as deep, and in flash photos, her cooler undertone really shows so if you have a warm undertone and/or are darker complected, looks will be pretty but lack dimension. Patrick Ta seems to have nailed this palette. I think it's perfect if you basically want the same eyeshadow makeup but don't want to get bored reaching for the same formulas. It doesn't offer multiple looks, just multiple experiences and *that's* the innovation that warrants the price tag for me 👏🏽👏🏽 💕
Your videos with swatches & comparisons are always so helpful!!! I’ve been going back and forth on this one. I never got his first one and his blushes aren’t my fave, but this one is calling my name. I love those mauve tones but I have a TON of palettes with them lol thanks for giving us the deets 😘😘

Oh well, I already bought the Patrick Ta and the CT dream. I love all the tones and the Patrick Ta Rose pallet had instant Buzz. The OG Pillow Talk Quad was too light for me. It matched my skin tone and disappeared. So the Dream Quad is my Pillow Talk.

All three looks were absolutely beautiful, but I think #3 was my favourite. It's so easy to look sick with the shades, but I think you succeeded wonderfully with not doing so.❤❤
Ordered this palette and LOVE IT! As someone who has fair skin and is very cool-toned this is everything I want Charlotte Tilbury to be but NEVER is. CT pinks ALWAYS go bright orange or coral on me, never ever pink, plum or purple. The colours in the Patrick Ta one on my cool-toned skin show up as pink, plum, burgundy and purple. I LOVE IT! Can't wait to re-create the eye looks you did here - just beautiful!
I am fair and cool toned and thought about reviewing this palette but was worried it would be your standard "warm oranges warm pinks" palette so good to know it'd actually cool toned friendly as they are pretty rare. I typically only buy straight cools but this looks pretty 😍
Ooh, that is good to hear! I jumped the gun on this one, then wondered if I’d have buyers remorse. Just like you, I was afraid it may be too warm like a CT palette that is supposed to be pink but just looks bronze on me. @@DanielleNicoleMakeup I mean everyone is different right, but for me, this one actually had purple, dusty rose, and burgundy that showed up. Huda Beauty usually translates well on my skin tone and I found this to be similar. It's still a warm-toned palette don't get me wrong, but it wasn't orange for me. If it helps, I am Dior OCR-1CR in winter and then in the peak of summer I am 2CR :)

I added this to my basket last night after seeing that Michele Wang had it in her haul. I don't normally wear a lot of berry tones, however, I really decided to give this palette a try because of the cream shadows that I'm obsessed over lately. As always, appreciate your honest feedback about whether u need this in your collection or not. Can't wait to get it...will try and follow your looks which were all stunning. Thanks for the lovely review. I look at it and I’m a little worried about the shimmers. They look a little chunky. My aging eyes don’t look good with chunky glitter. I prefer a more satin texture.

I loved the shades in the first palette he released but it's a real pity about the shimmers. Thanks for keeping it real though I really appreciate your honesty and clarity when reviewing. Thanks for the reviews Tara! If I could only get one palette, would you recommend Pillow Talk Dreams or this Patrick Ta one? I'm worried that the shades in Patrick TA's palette are too similar and I'd just end up with the same look as if I was using a quad anyway.
This palette looks amazing and I love the color story but I think I will not get this right away maybe later perhaps. This palette pulled VERY warm and mostly orange on my skin tone (not super flattering, at least on me.) I don’t get rose or mauve, I get orange. Every look was pretty much the same and there are is a lot of overlap within shades….the two middle shimmers look identical, the darker cream and the darker matte look the same. Unpopular opinion, but I hate this palette and wish I hadn’t jumped so quickly because there was a Sephora sale and because I thought it was going to sell out quickly. (Spoiler alert, it’s still in stock 😂)
TYFS! We are all different right. That's what I was worried about. Do you have a cool complection by chance? I just commented that I was considering ordering this to review but I definitely prefer cool tones and do not look good in warm orange tones and unfortunately most palettes are pretty warm pink/orange. Guess it depends on your complection and preference
@@DanielleNicoleMakeup Definitely not a cool complexion. I’m truly pretty neutral with light to slightly medium skin. I find it so bizarre watching reviews where people talk about the mauves especially as I don’t see even a hint of purple anywhere. The darker mattes and creams have a reddish undertone on me and the rest of the mattes all pull orange. Two of the shimmers run a bit pink but they’re exactly the same (so at least one is pointless) and the other two are also straight up orange undertones. I’m alone on my island of loathing this palette…. I feel like I’ve gone back in time where red/oranges ruled the roost 😂

I’m hating how everything is warm as well because it all ends up orange on me. I’m so fed up I’m taking apart my ND palettes to make ones that will work for me.
@@lesliekudna6879 I feel you Leslie. I don't like warm palettes that lean orange either and unfortunately so many do which they work beautifully on warm or neutral skin. I don't feel they look the best on my skintone unfortunately. Have you seen the Jolie Beauty Sorceress palette or Scott Barnes Snatural2? They are ones I recently reviewed that come to mind. They are beautiful as well as Hindash's, although not "cool toned" persay. Still waiting for the cool toned revolution to come...I will probably be waiting a while
So intrigued by the creams playing so well with the mattes and shimmers. Also happy that the shimmers are multi dimension I am praying he comes out with a cool platinum grey palette next. I so want to play with his formula. Warm, warm leaning and pink-berry-mauve tones are not for me.

Even tho I never wear this rosey colorstory and I have many dupes in my collection, this palette is gorgeous! Patrick Ta completely understand how to create a palette that's irresistible 💜🙀💜 I his first major dimension, and I was hesitant to buy it because it's fairly warm toned. I love it the formula the creams everything, but it's just so warm on me. I want this palette, but these colors always look bad on me. I have Huda new nudes obsessions in light, rich, and medium but they don't look good on me. They are too pink and warm. Is this palette similar in tone?

I loved the shades in the first palette he released but it's a real pity about the shimmers. Thanks for keeping it real though I really appreciate your honesty and clarity when reviewing. Makes me want to buy things when you do recommend them like the Huda Beauty Rose Quartz. Going to purchase that next.

Gorgeous look! I had mixed feelings about this palette because it looks so warm. Instead, I planned to just get Give Me Glow’s Two Moods palette. But, I gave in and bought it. After seeing your review, I don’t regret it. Great job and great comparisons(as usual)!!!

Thanks for the reviews Tara! If I could only get one palette, would you recommend Pillow Talk Dreams or this Patrick Ta one? I'm worried that the shades in Patrick TA's palette are too similar and I'd just end up with the same look as if I was using a quad anyway.

Freedreaming Clean Blurring Skin Tint.
This palette pulled VERY warm and mostly orange on my skin tone (not super flattering, at least on me.) I don’t get rose or mauve, I get orange. Every look was pretty much the same and there are is a lot of overlap within shades….the two middle shimmers look identical, the darker cream and the darker matte look the same. Unpopular opinion, but I hate this palette and wish I hadn’t jumped so quickly because there was a Sephora sale and because I thought it was going to sell out quickly. (Spoiler alert, it’s still in stock 😂)
TYFS! We are all different right. That's what I was worried about. Do you have a cool complection by chance? I just commented that I was considering ordering this to review but I definitely prefer cool tones and do not look good in warm orange tones and unfortunately most palettes are pretty warm pink/orange. Guess it depends on your complection and preference
@@DanielleNicoleMakeup Definitely not a cool complexion. I’m truly pretty neutral with light to slightly medium skin. I find it so bizarre watching reviews where people talk about the mauves especially as I don’t see even a hint of purple anywhere. The darker mattes and creams have a reddish undertone on me and the rest of the mattes all pull orange. Two of the shimmers run a bit pink but they’re exactly the same (so at least one is pointless) and the other two are also straight up orange undertones. I’m alone on my island of loathing this palette…. I feel like I’ve gone back in time where red/oranges ruled the roost 😂

I’m hating how everything is warm as well because it all ends up orange on me. I’m so fed up I’m taking apart my ND palettes to make ones that will work for me.
@@lesliekudna6879 I feel you Leslie. I don't like warm palettes that lean orange either and unfortunately so many do which they work beautifully on warm or neutral skin. I don't feel they look the best on my skintone unfortunately. Have you seen the Jolie Beauty Sorceress palette or Scott Barnes Snatural2? They are ones I recently reviewed that come to mind. They are beautiful as well as Hindash's, although not "cool toned" persay. Still waiting for the cool toned revolution to come...I will probably be waiting a while

This is more of a fall/winter palette. It looks beautiful but I would wear many of these in the summer. I’m on the fence for sure…
So intrigued by the creams playing so well with the mattes and shimmers. Also happy that the shimmers are multi dimension I am praying he comes out with a cool platinum grey palette next. I so want to play with his formula. Warm, warm leaning and pink-berry-mauve tones are not for me.

They aren't more finely milled but softer pressed into the pan

Would you say that the Natash Denona retro palette is different enough in tones to pick up this palette? The Patrick Ta seems a lot warmer but I love berries and pinks! 💕✨
Even tho I never wear this rosey colorstory and I have many dupes in my collection, this palette is gorgeous! Patrick Ta completely understand how to create a palette that's irresistible 💜🙀💜 I his first major dimension, and I was hesitant to buy it because it's fairly warm toned. I love it the formula the creams everything, but it's just so warm on me. I want this palette, but these colors always look bad on me. I have Huda new nudes obsessions in light, rich, and medium but they don't look good on me. They are too pink and warm. Is this palette similar in tone?

it's kind of like microfine glitter that gives it the sparkle, the kind that is hard to clean off your face lol. But not big chunks.

They're definitely darker and have dimension. And very pigmented so a little goes a long way😁❤️
