HOW TO USE Maximum Spin To Get You Out Of Trouble - Specialty Shot!

Поделиться

  • Опубликовано: 6 сен 2022
  • In this video I will show you how to hit places on the cue ball that you have never hit before. This will create so much spin, that you will be able to get to places on the table from almost straight in.
    This is a filipino type spin shot, used by for example Efren Reyes and Carlo Biado.
    Practice this pool shot, you're gonna love it and it's gonna give you a lot of power in your stroke!
    Enjoy!!

      Great shots but examples 1 and 2 are mighty tough on Diamond tables that routinely reject the object ball at those angles at speeds beyond pocket speed unless hit absolutely perfect. Still, those shots come up all the time and are must have shots in ones toolbox.

      By defenition, all shafts even LD have some deflection so we have to adjust our aim by aiming slightly fuller on these shots to compensate for the twist of the cue ball to the opposite side of the spin. Hit with left, cue ball will squirt more to the right. However, the shorter the distance the less you need to compensate 😄👍🏼

  • @capoman1

    I will add. If you are straight straight straight in like this, you can try either extreme english, but do not adjust aim since you are looking to cheat the pocket as much as possible to get an angle, if you aim to cheat the pocket, you will miss, because hitting hard with side causes cueball deflection and you will miss the ghost ball.... THUS aiming right at ghost ball hard with side english WILL MAKE IT AND GET THAT POCKET CHEAT you were looking for.
    I missed this shot for years, aiming to cheat the pocket is something I have always been good at, yet I always missed this shot. The key was that deflection made me miss. The adjustment was to not aim at a pocket cheat. Aim normal ghost ball. Deflection will cheat the pocket for you.

    Very useful shot. It takes practice, lots of amateurs miss easy shots with too much English, thats a good practice shot to get better at it. I made one last week was straight on hit it hard with english and it got me shape lol it spun for like 15 seconds 😄 It didn't go that far tho my next shot wasn't at the very end. I love practicing by myself people kinda laugh at me sometimes but last season in league at the end my team played the best team they never lost one night, im one pf the only ones in the league who won 3/4 games against them, should have won all 4 but i got excited and miscued. if you miss they run the table. Not bad for a trans girl 😄 so many guys get frustrated losing to me 🤣 its a game of skill not strength and my breaks suck too they are lucky I don't have a break cue my shots arent as hard since I started transitioning. I might not be able to get completely down table on a 9' table but Im good at banks my go to practice shots lol

    Great lesson. I still dump because of throw/deflection 😖

    • @chili015
      @chili015 Год назад +5

      There's virtually no throw on these shots for a couple of reasons: 1) Almost every version of this shot requires a lot of speed, so the contact time between the cue ball and object ball is minimal... in other words, there's not enough time for friction to do its thing. 2) Speaking of friction, because this shot requires maximum side spin, the interaction between the cue ball and object ball has more a of a "sliding" effect (meaning the surface of the two balls aren't gripping as much, but instead are sliding off each other). As far as deflection, this will have to be accounted for, but in these situations you're usually going to be close to the object ball, so you don't have to change your aim too much. You can basically aim for a full ball hit and the inside English should deflect properly to make the shot.

    Nice video. I am just wondering,l. What if in your last example there is more distance between the cue ball and object ball? Will you still apply that spin?

    Jaaaaaren geleden heeft iemand me deze bal eens laten zien bij " De Dijkjes " ....toen was de Z-shaft van Predator net uit en ik vroeg hem wat er zo bijzonder was aan die shaft...
    En hij liet me deze bal zien...

      Hahaha lachen maar het ligt dus niet aan de shaft want ik gebruik LUNA NERA van Longoni 😆🔥

    Only thing I wished I saw from a tutorial is an angle where we see down the cue while applying spin. Amateurs assume that moving your English to the side means you aim to the same spot on the object ball as if you were applying no spin. This is hard for me to explain without using an example. I hope you guys understand what I mean.

      Adjust your aim slightly. Probably a bit thicker to allow for the natural deflection 😄👍🏼

      Hey Neils. Do you mean aim thinner because deflection with left English would push the cue ball to the right resulting in a thicker hit than the one aimed at? The way you say ‘a bit thicker’ is confusing because that would mean aiming close to the center of the object ball but we are trying to account for deflection and hence aiming more outside edge of the object ball meaning aiming thinner. Yes ?

    Hoi niels, super video. Ik speel zelf ook graag met spin. Paar vragen als kan:op 1.17 pak je ook spin maar pak je 'm op 11 uur, later pak je 'm bij het goede voorbeeld op 10 uur, is dat zo'n verschil?
    Verder pak je die 1 bal op 3 uur, als je 'm op 2 of 1 pakt krijgt die dan meer vaart maar minder spin naar andere band?
    Heb bijna zelf eigen tafel dus kan oefenen😊 meest moeite heb ik met goede trekstoot en dan met name van langere afstand, ik krijg de bal niet genoeg terug maar weet niet goed hoe ik dit kan verbeteren. Heb je daar tips of een video van?
    Bedabkt en hopelijk speel ik snel een keer tegen je op 'n toernooi 😊

    Also, on your tour tighter pockets , how do you handle the speed?

    • @NielsTheTerminatorFeijen
      @NielsTheTerminatorFeijen  Год назад

      I would handle it the same but only if I’m fairly close to the ball. Otherwise it becomes too risky. So no more than the first example on the 8. That’s still very doable on most equipment 😄👍🏼
