Why do I constantly get the feeling that this song is dedicated to Jonghyun? The song's title is 'winter tree' and this reminds me of the christmas tree Jonghyun gifted her... (which was shown at her concert) And the lines 'you don' t have to be alone' and 'I am all ears' and overall the whole song's message, that she'll listen to the person's problems or stories... She also said she regrets not having been able to notice that he's been struggling so much and helping him... Which makes me think that she reflected a lot on that and released this song, to prevent any future happenings like these and also to express her sorrow for him (?)

I doubt that. This song is longggg done before Jonghyun's death. Everything (song production, lyrics, etc) is probably done since months ago. Maybe. Bella Pertiwi But Jonghyun has been depressed loooong ago, since years ago and some people around him actually knows this and I think as one of his closest friend, Taeyeon knows too. As they said, they did encourage him but it's more like to 'delay' his death but not healed his depression. So the song could be for him as well, in a way...to listen to him.
