I'm a Cook Islander but born and raised in New Zealand aka Aotearoa but I found it extremely interesting that he spoke of spitting with the American accent because in New Zealand it is now frowned upon when an Emcee uses the American accent to rap in. It's heavily criticized now. Where in 2003, it was dope! I totally understand where he's coming from most of today Rappers here in New Zealand and particularly in Australia, they spit in their natural accent but a lot of the time, it just sounds funny but I totally get it, I see both sides of the coin, so to speak. It's about having pride in your own surroundings and where you came from, and to represent that, is massive. Especially for Indigenous peoples. In regards to the actual song, I didn't particularly like all that much but I always enjoy your break down of each song you guys review. I've been watching your channel for 4 years now, and you've come along way. Love the content!
