This is why Princess Peach is a heroin for the whole movie straight.
Princess Peach is what more girlbosses should be. She shows leadership, encourages empowerment, and helps others. You can have a character that is a girlboss, but they shouldn't have to sacrifice their compassion to be effective.
Literally! She's brave, stubborn, and fierce. But she's also sweet, compassionate, and cares about her toads and friends. It's perfectly balanced.
And she doesn't have to be muscle mountain in a buzz cut! She can wear 500 dresses (most of which are pink) and have other interests too!

Illumination did not create the”Badass” version of Peach
She was always this badass in the Rpgs, manga, and Smash bros.
@@UltimateDespairado Hell yeah. My favorite incarnation of Peach (or Princess Toadstool as she was called back in the day) was the 1992 Super Mario Adventures comic in the Nintendo Power magazine. She's an absolute badass in that storyline.

I absolutely loved Princess Peach in this movie. I mean, she was willing to help Mario save his brother from almost being killed rather than just easily ignoring and turning him down, expressing kindness to Cranky Kong convincing him for his army to help stop Bowser despite being almost rejected until Mario stepped in for a deal to battle Donkey Kong, and also taking the responsibility of defending her kingdom as well as her people. Prime example of an amazing character
Peach was always the character I chose in the games as a kid. Seeing her brought to life in the movie made my inner child so happy.
I loved her ever since I played as her in Mario Strikers, Super Princess Peach, Super Paper Mario and Super Smash Bros.

She would probably be a fiesty and sarcastic princess as sort of a replacement for Peach in the sequel. Heck, give her an arc where she starts out rude and ungrateful to actually appreciating and caring for the brothers. My personal voice choice (which probably won’t happen) is Stephanie Beatriz. Her voice can range from spunky and cheerful to aggressive and sarcastic, depending on the character.

I honestly don't understand why people don't like her personality in the movie. I honestly absolutely love and adore her personality in the movie because at least in the movie she's able to defend herself and her toads from being attacked by bowser instead of sitting there helplessly in her castle waiting for Mario to come and rescue her like in the game.
