I dare say Leto is best part of Morbius beginning but The material Jared Leto was given to work with in Morbius is just meh.
Much like Venom, its a soulless cash grab that tries to paint a Marvel villain as victim of circumstances only to pit the titular character against a character who acts more like titular character than the titular character-Th3Birdman
Yea Sony just gets good actors n gives them shit. Like wtf, I like the venom movies, somewhat. But it's just fun, the stories are dumb, but the movies r fun. I wish they would read a comic. I bet if they made half way decent movies the mcu would be willing to work with Sony. But I don't think that's ever gonna happen. Venom was the closest to doing that but now we see how that might go. Oooo well .

Venom must've been really drunk. Like when someone forgets their phone, wallet, purse, coat, somewhere, Venom leaves a piece of himself.
Yes, I think they might imply that Venom can leave pieces that don't really have to be another symbiote.

i have two theories on that bar
one:the bar that Eddie and Venom were came back in the exact same place in their own world and let the tiny bit of symbiote left in the bar
two:Sony is stupid and just retconned it

Yeah, my assumption is that Venom just left a piece of himself in the MCU and a piece of himself on his own universe’s bar because he was drunk.
Plus if you think back to the Morbius trailer, that scene may not even end up in the final film. 😂

...so explain how the symbiote that got left in the MCU after Eddie went back to his universe is also magically back in Eddie's universe now too if it isn't a retcon. We can all tell it's the same bar in separate universes but that isn't the issue here

That is Curt Connors. They cured him in No Way Home. That's him back with his kid living a happy life in that traveling van... confirming that Venom is in Andrew's universe... and i always assumed Vulture ended up in the Morbius universe because of the incursion beginning (remember NWH was originally supposed to be after Multiverse of Madness which confirmed an incursion is occuring)
I think thats it's Curtis Connors in Eddie's universe where he's a hippie, and never had his accident which means he doesn't become a scientist to regrow his arm.

I think it possible that he left a piece behind when he initially transitioned into the MCU, then left another piece behind inside the MCU as he left it. Not necessarily a retcon but also would like a more accurate secret wars representation
My favorite Sony-verse movie was Madam Webb. Not because it was good but because I watched it with my EMT friend who was horrified at every scene where EMT stuff was happening.

I think we are giving Sony free advertising again. Sony has literally added in BS spiderman references in their marketing to make us think its all connected so we talk about it only for it to not have any of these scenes or connection in the final product. Sony should honestly be sued considering its now legal for us to do so when movie studios mis-market a film setting incorrect expectations. A lot of people watched these films thinking it was connected based on MCU's success and Sony's false adverts.
Yeah, that’s literally what this is. Remember the TASM & Raimi references in the Morbius trailer? You’re right that Sony SHOULD be sued for this false advertising, but like Film Theory said, the courts probably wouldn’t take this seriously and with the money Sony has, it wouldn’t be worth it.

Sony is still trying to tie their movies to the MCU in a desperate attempt to get people to watch.
Venom made almost 1.5 billion on the two first movies and was never connected to MCU
I think that he did leave a drop in 616 and also in the Sony verse. And I also think because Riot didn’t report back. The symbiotes invaded anyway.
A retcon would assume that Sony has things planned everything out and knows what they are doing. We all know that's not true.

Here's my guess: With Venom loosing apart of himself in the MCU. That must mean that when he returned, another piece also came off and landed with him in his return. Plus, if you look closely at the background of the bar. It's much different then the one in NWH.
And knowing Sony. They'll say that the army tracked him down before he left to the MCU and were on their way to arrest him. However, he was then at the bar and they went there and that's how when they see the piece of Venom and then take it as a one of the pieces to study, understand and defeat Venom.
How would he know to catch it at that moment unless he works for the TVA👀🤔

Well.. before eddy was zoomed into the mcu his hotel room in Mexico was dark and dim. The mcu hotel and bar was bright. When he left the mcu he did leave a part of the symbiot behind. I believe he also left a part of himself in his own universe at that same hotel/bar and it crawled to the bar and thus leads to being captured 🤷🏾♂️. Just a thought.
It would be nice if Feige could move Spiderman towards the Secret Wars symbiote origin and try and coax Sony into reimagining their Venom story into something a little more cohesive.

Wait… I just realized, what if Peter’s parents are on the airplane that Venom is fighting Xenophage. Which results in their deaths since Peter’s parents did die on an airplane in the comics.
Sony's marvel universe just gives me headaches.
Spiderman and Daredevil vs Kingpin, having the prowler as one of his henchmen, maybe scorpion too. Miles introduction, maybe an Osborn as one of Peter's classmates, possibly a Felicia hardy cameo. And top it all off with some Ned leeds hobgoblin in the background. There's enough to chew on in this movie without going the venom route. Maybe give Peter the symbiote after he kills Ned?
Also could throw the fantastic 4 in the background as well.
I think someone got Sony to realize they were failing, and need to back off to let Kevin Feige take control of any MCU-related stuff.

What we may be seeing is the start of an Incursion. The universes are colliding and it displaced people and places into a quasiverse.
Venom didn't move from his universe. Rather the two universes overlapped on top of Eddie and so that's what it looks like from his point of view.

It went back to the previous Universe, because in No Way Home Cristo Fernández was a Bartender, and the shot in the trailer with Chiwetel Ejiofor, Cristo is sitting on the other end of the Bar as a Patron, probably same character, different version of him. MCU, Cristo is a Bartender & Sony, Cristo is a Barfly/Patron
Now, I don't know deep lore, but didn't What If establish that all Marvel properties, including movies, past and present shows, live action and animated from either Fox, Disney and Sony, are all connected via the multiverse?
It could be just another "drop" of Venom on the bar top.

It's not a retcon. Venom is obviously being chased by agents and a piece of the symbiote fell off
It might not nessissarily be a retcon. It's likely the same bar as the MCU on Earth 688B.
As for the symbiote. A piece of Venom could have fallen off when he got back to Earth 688B or alterernatively that's not a piece of Venom and is a different Symbiote.
Or the Spider Society could have returned it to the Venom Universe after the events of Across the Spiderverse.

I agree I don’t think it’s a good idea to put a 10 year old Peter Parker in the film, but the mostly main focus is putting venom back in the MCU hopefully, after this movie he can come back and discover the venom verse and probably jump back to the MCU with his friends and family might move there too. Hopefully we don’t know what’s gonna happen.

Can we really use Mordo's actor playing a different character as evidence for that scene not being in the MCU? Because actors have played multiple roles in the MCU's continuity before with the most recent example I can think of being Blade's actor previously playing one of the villains of Luke Cage.
It's possible that the drop of symbiote created a variant of itself considering it was technically born between worlds.
I'm confused now. Oh, well. It will see the movie and probably then be done with their universe.
