The back of the iPhone 13 Pro Max looks a bit more gold than the iPhone 12 Pro Max's back. Both of the iPhone 13 Pro Max and the iPhone 12 Pro Max's sides looks the same to me.

Thanks for this! Helps with my dilemma whether to get the mini or the pro. I have the 12 pro in gold and didn’t love the back color. Now that I see it’s more “gold”, I think this’ll be the color I’ll get and hold off on the mini.
When light hits the surface of 13 pro its kinda gives more deep gold reflection. The gold this year is bit deeper than 12 pro.
I have it and it’s a green gold dirt reflection 😭

Is it me or the camera bump of the 13 looks white? I just got 13 pro max gold and looks white, just did a side by side comparison with my friends 12 pro max gold and hers looks more yellowish than mine.

The gold is a beautiful color on my pro max 12 so bet the 13 pro max is as well. To me the gold looks even better in person than in videos.

Personally I wish and long for an iPhone Pro with the same current flat stainless steel 'gold' bumper, but with a much lighter more creamy (almost white) back plate and then another iPhone with also the current flat stainless steel bumper but in silver, with a much darker black frosted backplate (the latter being a close matching colour to that of the iconic iPhone 4S). These two tweaked colour editions could be fantastic

This is certainly not the case with my 13/12 pro max’s. The buttons on my 13 pro max are slightly higher up on the phone than they are on my 12 pro max. What gives?!

I have no idea why people care about the color of the phone. If the owner is smart, there will be a case on the iPhone. If this case is an otterbox, Nobody will even be able to tell what color the phone is. 🤣
