I would also like to thank the clipper, this channel have so much content that you can't find on other channels where they usually just clip lewd/funny/crazy/memeable moments that gets clipped over and over again. Talk streams rarely get the spotlight but these are the ones that I appreciate the most. You can get to know the members a bit more since they usually talk about random things about themselves, other members or some behind the scene happenings.
It's sad that we won't be seeing them together on stream, but the upside is that their friendship has flourished to this day, and that's the most important thing. They went out for dinner and are making concrete plans to finally hike Mount Takao together.

Interesting to see how much the other hololive members enjoyed watching them too. I remember Suisei commenting how much she enjoyed watching the AkuPeko Sisyphus Race too.
i think what actually "sparked" it or gave their friendship a move forward is when aqua sent a minecraft note to pekora during the mc hardcore that actually made pekora almost cry as can be heard with her voice cracking while reading her note. then its an effort for the both of them as it followed with collabs such as the endurance one, sisyphus and so on. but at the end of the day this is just like an open ended for us viewers, we don't know them personally and we can't know for sure, we can only base on our observation, what we see here on yt, but one thing is- I'm really glad it happened and now I can only hope that their friendship will remain and deepen behind the scenes. a side note: I do think pekora likes people who are insightful, like her genmate, azki, and then later aqua
The Sisyphus game was before MC Hardcore. It was their first 1 on 1 collab in 2024 ( there was a lethal company with Azki and Fubuki a bit earlier) and it was epic how in sync they were throughout. And then the momentum carried to MC Hardcore. But yea the MC Hardcore and Aqua being the assistant to the administrator definitely helped their relationship a lot.
I agree... And maybe also something happened offline .. you know when they are on rehearsal or stuff... The things we don't see... Those little nice things..😊😊
For me AquPeko started when Pekora suddenly pranked Aqua on her first visit to the new minecraft server. Pekora scammed all of her items saying that items from the old server aren't allowed on the new one. Iirc Aqua also messaged Pekora and Chloe thanking them because they had played with her and she had a great time. If my memory serves right this was around the time she came back from her almost year long hiatus from her burn out and slump. So she was extra grateful to the two for spending time w/ her after she returns.
I think the seeds were already planted during the early kensetsu 'war' especially with Pekora 'stealing' Moona from Akukin. They only exchanged messages via signs but had not the courage to actually interact with each other.
@@no-you-sagi For me it was the opposite, in the early days Aqua was known for addictively playing minecraft, she was always online in the 1st server(neighbor wars era) in the hopes of people coming back and playing minecraft again. This was also true on the early part of thr 2nd server(kensetsu war era) she was having a lot of fun playing w/ others and building stuff in MC. That was until the latter part of the Kensetsu war, Usaken was expanding rapidly and holding lots of events and constructing tons of building that other "rival companies" couldn't catch up. The pressure to produce content/ideas to rival Usaken and fans' expectations came crashing down, after some Akukin collab she stopped playing and didn't log in for a long long time. This was what also happened to Oozora kensetsu.
Yeah this the anchor. Because before stream she kind of nervous because pekora also have Minecraft stream so she asked marine about pekora, and marine said that she will be fine. Not long after that stream they have only up Collab, then lead to Pekora Christmas stream at marine house with some other holomem.
Need to mention that one time Azki invited Pekora and Aqua for a Lethal Company collab also. Though there wasn’t much of the AqauPeko interactions but I find this funny cuz Azki is really the Introvert tamer that can brought them together 😂
I think that understanding of how Pekora thinks is what makes Azki different from like, taking example from Pekora's collab mates this week; Koyori and Kanata. Azki knows how hard it is for Pekora to let her in while Koyori was just thinking more about herself first. Other holo who knows it really well is Marine, despite all of her 'effort' to be loved by Pekora, it's all just an on-screen acting and she respects that limit irl.
Koyori(only thinking about herself first) Holy... you can't label people like that w/o knowing the full story. Koyori has been a nousagi even before she became a holomem, although she has been hiding this from the very start. The first glimpse of that was when in the early days of Holox Marine revealed how cute Koyori is and there was one time where when they meet Koyori on the studio Koyo would put her arms wide a sign asking for a hug and Marine would naturally hug her. Koyo then shyly look at Pekora and Marine dumbfoundedly watch as Pekora gave Koyo a hug too. Fast forward to Rust arc, when Koyo met Pekora, they only banter for a bit and Pekora proceeds to raid the subway while Koyori shyly watch her oshi from afar, when Peko noticed this she invited Koyo to join and made her a meatshield. This was the start of PeKoyo, in the finale the one that Peko raided Koyo's base which made her happy, team up together, group up w/ others, planned a betrayal w/ koyori(and the famous unread betrayal message), and the eventual Pekora vs All. Koyori was struggling that time since she wanted to join Pekora again but she kept dying because Peko's base was tightly defended. Til this day she was regretting that time and was mentioned in their recent collab. What cemented her as nousagi was when she did a watchalong when Pekora had her Sololive Megami Usa Peko. You can see the hype and her passion all throughout the stream. After that she revealed that she was a nousagi in Okayu and Shishi's talkshow, and also mentioned that she also confessed it to Pekora right before she revealed it to everyone. She found the perfect timing to break the ice w/ Pekora when Pekora did her "Other members decide Collab week" and invited her to her house. She was constantly and shyly hinting for Pekora to stay and eat together and was surprised that Pekora agreed. Koyori was always maintainkng her distance as Kouhai for the last few years and just started her "attack" to get closer to her oshi on their very first off collab.
Although no one can deny AZKi's charisma, that doesn't mean other members don't consider the "limit/distance" when interacting w/ Pekora. I think it's the other way around, they are being too careful when it comes to Pekora as she's quite infamous when it comes to collab, lots of members want to invite Pekora for a collab but they don't push through with the invitation since they all know Pekora is a busy person, on top of my head I remember Lamy having this concern too, even Marine is being too careful w/ Pekora despite claiming her no 1 spot that knows Pekora the most. Even Kanade who's famous for being bratty is also consulting w/ her viewers on how to invite Pekora to eat out. Kanata also revealed her concern to her viewers after Koyori's turn in Peko's collab week, because she noticed that all of the members decided for a collab some of them being an off collab too, while hers was in a versus format and if i recall correctly it was at first a gambling or slot. She then consulted her worries to Pekora and if she needed to change her idea and Pekora didn't mind and was happy w/ the arrangement, they decided to change it to cardshop game though. And Kanata hastily leveled up her shop lvl since there was a big gap on their game.
