    Your content is AMAZING, it allows me to experience Nigeria whilst in Botswana. Abuja has been one of my DREAM CITY to live in Africa for years and someday when I'm MONIED I plan to invest in property there!

    Notice how there are no markets along roads and how spacious, empty and clean the city looks? Lagos is very beautiful, but the markets are filling up the paveways making pedestrians walk on the road and throwing their trash on the ground, making the city look congested, chaotic and dirty. They should pick out a designated place/places for these markets to be placed and ban all the markets that are outside those designated places, just like Abuja and some other cities in Nigeria. Just like in other countries you cannot place your market anywhere and anyhow like that. Loved the video. Good job Abuja!

    It's a great video, but it's hardly pardonable that you left out the lake at Jabi. That said I enjoyed watching the video very much. I started visiting Abuja in the 1980s when it was new and still largely under construction. I've been there several times since, but not in the last five years or so. I'll be flying into Abuja later on this month from London, so it's cool to know what to look forward to. Thank you very much for this.

    Nice clean video. about the federal capital territory .. Abuja.thanks !
    One thing though if you don't mind .it would be great if you had a side camera to capture the side views , especially for a drive through video it would help for a more comprehensive viewer experience
    I lived in Abuja for six years .a good number of the beautiful landmark buildings mentioned were.not visible The camera being in front narrows the view to what is in front ,crops off the bright sunny sky and also by movement quickly crops off the approaching view I was.hoping to see much of the great landmarks of the city as you drove through
    Well done though ! I love the movement and clarity of the pictures

    Problem with Nigeria is that nothing is planned. Looking the roads, there are no signs of speed limit, and other warning signs. The big building are not in one place as western cities are organized. Even when you go to Dakar, Senegal or Algiers, Algeria to mention but a few. You have all the big buildings joined to each others in the city centre, and not scattered here and there like in Nigeria

    • @AfricasRealities
      @AfricasRealities 5 месяцев назад

      Because of Nigeria's population. We don't cluster our cities in one district. We scatter development small piece here and small piece there and small piece everywhere, so people move to different locations during rush hour and not heading to one direction. Even at that, we still have traffic jams. Not in Abuja though, but in Lagos and other cities. Abuja is planned with the consciousness to avoid traffic.
      Emagine if Lagos has a CBD like most African countries, then nobody can get to work. But Lagos development is shared in many places, Victoria Island, Ikoyi, CMS marina, Lekki, Ikeja, etc. Yet, the traffic gridlock in Lagos is crazy, in spite scattered development everywhere.
