Measurements: 1.5 cup flour 1/3 cup of both sugars each 120g butter 1/2 teaspoon salt, baking soda, vanilla Essence 1 egg 1 cup cranberry, half cup to one orange of zest
these are delicious! made them yesterday. perfectly sweet orange flavor with the chewy cranberries. refreshing after all the chocolate based cookies from Christmas.
I made these at Christmas time and they were so delicious. Now that I am getting ready to do something special again I'm going to make some more of these.
I just finished baking these today (for the New Year lol) and they were delicious! They are nice light dessert, not too rich or sweet. I added a tablespoon of orange juice from the orange I grated for extra citrus.
They came out of the oven about an hour ago and just ate one. They are delicious!! Decided to make large cookies. Turned out to be giant cookies (I got only 8 out of the batter. Woops.). But hey, giant cookies are more fun. Thanks for this amazing recipe!
Oh my God!! These look soo good Laura! I will try making these cookies this holiday season♥♥♥ these look perfect♥♥ lovee ur taste tests too♥ I was sleeping when u came on dancember, so missed u♡ but I did watch u on ur channel's LIVE telecast and enjoyed it! Thanks again!
I made this recipe and loved them they do however become dryer the longer they are around but still taste awesome! Btw could you make a video stating what you think are the kitchen gadgets and tools that people should have in their house to be able to make most things?
I love your channel :) My husband is allowed to see only one of your videos a week because he always says " Make the one Laura Vitale made in her last episode" lol :) You are amazing. Happy New Year!
Laura - not sure if you read posts, but I subscribed to your channel a few days ago. Really liked how easy you made everything seem. So, I tried this recipe. My husband can't stop eating these cookies. The sad thing is these were for our neighbor, but now I have to figure something else out because husband doesn't want to part with them. Thanks for the recipe and happy holidays!
Please make Choco Crossies. It's a german Treat with Cornflakes, Choclate and chopped almonds. They look like little chocolate Candies. It's SO DELICIOUS. Trust me! Laura in the Kitchen

hi laura merry xmas! god bless you! yesterday we watched this delicious cookies recipie. we made them however we had a small issue...they cookies were to soft! so soft infact that they broke! we even left them eleven minutes in the oven and they did not harden. we would very much like to enjoy them again but would not like to ruin their flavor by adding xtra flour. we just want crispy cookies :) any thoughts?
Dear laura, there is something i should tell you. I love your recipes so much, and often try to recreate them. Some of them successful, come of them unsuccessful. The ones that seem to fail on me, are the baking recipes, probably by the fact that you use cups, in stead of our measuring way, grams and mls. I have purchased cup measurements from the internet, but it still fails to work for me. So my question is, could you please add your recipe measurements in grams as well? That would make me so happy.. thank you
Honestly if you bought measuring cups and spoons and it still doesn't work for you then I don't think it is the measurements maybe the recipes you try just aren't ones you like? or maybe its the oven you are baking them in. but like someone else said try making the recipes your own.
Yum, Laura! And thanks for the tip to add another egg for a different texture! And you are right, these cookies would be so good with pistachios! I don't suppose you have any ideas on how to use up black walnuts? My husband bought a big bag at Sam's, and we love their flavor, but they can be a little strong. Merry Christmas!
LOL! You do have lots of great ideas, Ashley! Thank you! It's the black walnuts I have a big bag of, and I don't know if you've tried them, but they have a much stronger flavor than regular walnuts. Your ideas, especially for the medjool dates sounds like a great match for them! Merry Christmas!
You need baking soda and cream of tartar to make baking powder. Mix 2 parts cream of tartar with 1 part baking soda. For example, mix 2 tsp cream of tartar with 1 tsp baking soda.
Do you mind if you can share with us the ingredient measurements in grams. Sometimes It's hard for me to convert it into grams. Because we don't have any particular guideline on this.
I made these and they turned out to be awesome!!! I made another batch but now it’s past midnight and I want to sleep and bake them tomorrow , so I am refrigerating the dough. Fingers crossed.
We would appreciate it if you write measurements, HERE. Thanks. (With all respect, I saw your video, I loved the recipe, I went to my kitchen, got everything ready, my hands got already dirty bringing ingredients out, softening my butter, and when I need my measurements, in my kitchen, with my hands dirty, just trying to hear you from here, I do not have the measurements. So... I'm gone wash my hands, browse online to found your website, get the measurements... Just a thought. Best to you.
