"Slovakia's premier lens manufactuers, Feckarse Industries!" 😂 Such another great episode this one! Richard Wilson (who plays Victor) joked that he loved the scene where he attacks Ted for shouting his catchphrase, as that's what he'd secretly love to do whenever people came up to him to say it. lol :)
Father Noel (Graham Norton) was telling a story in the cave about how he met television presenter Chris Evans who didn't like him. Graham and Chris are now presenters with adjacent shows on the same radio station. They have ad for their shows where Chris pretends he cannot stand Graham.
You looked confused there, Lucy (11:16)? In case you didn't know: _the Filth_ is an old fashioned, criminal's expression for 'the Police'. The comedy is with the incongruity of an old woman using such a phrase. (No US-types know that - I don't know if Canadian - french or otherwise - are up on 1960s _Ealing Films_ crime capers)
The 1990 special with all the garden gnomes everywhere in the house is up there for me as one of the funniest moments ever... That and the gorilla suits!
It might just be my fave Series 3 episode, which is saying something, as the standard of Series 3 overall, is very high. The show definitely went out on top.
Agreed I love it when the two old ladies start arguing about who will pay for tea and it turns ugly because women actually do this I always remember as a boy mum and Grandma or Gran and my aunt doing the exact same thing after going for tea and sandwiches (not ending in a police cell obviously)
There was a line in the original script when the St Luke’s Youth group were at the airport. Check In lady: “Your flight leaves in 4 hours.” Tony Lynch: “4 hours?! We have to leave NOW!!!” 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Stellar once again. I meant to say before please do Steve Coogan 's Alan Partridge s1... Especially the infamous farmers episode.. ie Watership Alan 🤣 😁
I think the comedy road map of the UK goes England only fools and horses Wales Gavin and Stacey Scotland still game northern Ireland father ted and the Republic of Ireland Derry girls you can't go wrong with any of these shows
Hey Brad and Lucy, the composer of the music for Father Ted is doing the music for the ‘Wonka’ movie released in late 2023! Staring Ronan Atkinson and several others!
The milkman one speed was great there's still some great episodes left, kicking Bishop brennen up the arse with the world's worst sarcastic priest, did you come here on the new road " no I came on the Yemen road" I'm so so sorry "Now that's sarcasm" some of the best lines to listen out for. Glad you enjoyed them so far.

G'day Brad and Lucy. This is one of my favourite episodes of the entire series and it has to be one of the most wonderfully absurd episodes also, the crow mugging Jack when it's on his face looks like a pair of modified feather dusters, with someone jiggling it on a stick out of shot! And the shot of the ambulance directly after Jack's drink has been taken off him, is just perfectly timed! Main reason for being a top fave, Richard Wilson playing himself (so not quite a "cross over" episode.) ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE being another of my top favourite comedies. Graham Norton as Fr Noel - and his long suffering Youth group...poor Tony Lynch! 🤣 is one of my favourite characters, if only in three episodes. Like I mentioned in my comment a couple of days ago, I forget the episode but the video started with a farting compilation and I called you both a pair of "rotten buggers" for making me spray my phone with a mouthful of coffee and banging my head on the bench, if you recall, yeah... anyway that one, but my point being, it's the "unpredictability of the predictable", as I mentioned. Oh I remember now, it was BURPY BURPY SHEEP SHEEP, with Chris the sheep and the farting compilation at the start, that's it. Gawd, I'm such an awful ejit, a right thicko! Anyways I had a good laugh with the pair of Youse, so cheery bye for now fellow Gobshites and thankyou for your company. lots of love from the arse end of the world, I mean down under! 😝 🤠👍🍻 🇦🇺🤝🇨🇦 Hahaha, just saw the "I don't believe it" montage! Nice one 🤣👍
I have just watched one of the funniest sketches of Dave Allen on youtube of the teddy bear in hospital. Absolutely brilliant. It was on one of he's long shows. If I can suss it for you I will. ❤👍🙏
I watch this quite late because of the time difference, so it's 1AM here at the minute but I couldn't stop snorting like a hog, omg my neighbours are going to kill me lmao.
I think the reason it’s season and series is because U.K. series are usually 6 eps (a month and a half) whereas American seasons used to be a lot longer 20eps or more lasting over 1-2 calendar seasons
Enjoyed this so much As we know it is probably the best and most inovative TV comedies ever produced. Thanks so much. It was great to see you both enjoy it also. I dont know what it is about Irish humour and comedy. It's just the best. Great to see you guys enjoy it also. It's mad as Ted or Dougal or Mrs. Doyle might say. Thanks for a Mad afternoon.. Excellent.
@@andcouncil1 I'm in Perth and I have no problem watching their reaction to it. I'm guessing you are the type of person who complains about something that has been explained but you haven't seen the post the other day and you just automatically assume something. I find Graham annoying in this too, but love his chat shows, he is the best, have you watched any? I laughed so much at this, its one I had only seen once.
One of my favourite episodes and a great reaction video. For those who were unaware, Father Ted and One Foot in the Grave were the leading comedies of the time and it was superb that they worked together to make this episode. Another excellent show of the time was Red Dwarf. The episode Tikka to Ride is well worth watching.
Red Dwarf and One Foot are top-tier British comedy. Unfortunately I think reactions to those shows are rare, at least on RUclips, due to the BBC copyright blocking them.
@@-M0LE I really like Tikka To Ride, though I would say that the first 6 series of Dwarf was the show at it's very best. After Rob Grant left, the series declined, though to varying degrees, depending on the series' and episode.
@@bradlucy I recall scientists predicting more severe storms and snow in the northwest part of the USA due to climate change. The other severe change I’ve seen since 2015 is more wildfires. During those times the pollution from these fires have produced the worst air quality in the world.

I love Graham Norton, but find Father Noel annoying as Hell, but I think that's exactly the way the character was intended to be. "I see a little sillouhette of a man..." 🙃 😂
that ambulance scene is one of the most perfect comedy moments ever.
A perfect cut. Absolutely legendary.
The timing is literally split second perfect
My favourite part too.
Brilliant.👍
Yes, timing is everything with comedy delivery. Very funny.
The smash cut to the ambulance is, in my opinion, the greatest comedy moment of the 90s.
"Slovakia's premier lens manufactuers, Feckarse Industries!" 😂 Such another great episode this one! Richard Wilson (who plays Victor) joked that he loved the scene where he attacks Ted for shouting his catchphrase, as that's what he'd secretly love to do whenever people came up to him to say it. lol :)
The scary thing is Ted's rant about the police and church was worse in real life.
Oh, you absolutely have to watch One Foot in the Grave. It's got a fairly similar type of absurd humour to Father Ted. It's absolutely brilliant.
I don't believe it

Dougal trying to order food in the opticians and the cop shop was hilarious 😂
Dougal or Dubhghall, btw.
One Foot In The Grave is one of my favourite 90's sitcoms. It had several series and loads of Christmas specials.
A brilliant comedy series and one of my favourites also.👍
Same here victor is a great actor
The 1990 special with all the garden gnomes everywhere in the house is up there for me as one of the funniest moments ever... That and the gorilla suits!
Keeping up appearances
Which one is it that's quite big in America one foot in the grave or keeping up appearances?
Your reactions are hilarious keep up the good work you're both mad as a box of frogs like all the best people are 😂🇮🇪
I enjoyed this episode and I watched one foot in the grave tv series. And the last appearance of Noel
They made him calmer in flight into terror then again jacked him up to his original state in this episode
This episode is just about perfect.
It might just be my fave Series 3 episode, which is saying something, as the standard of Series 3 overall, is very high. The show definitely went out on top.
One of my favourites!

Oh god please react to one foot in the grave. It's quite a few episodes but it's so worth it. It's slightly surreal and sometimes a bit dark.
There was a line in the original script when the St Luke’s Youth group were at the airport.

Wow. So relieved ye have the OFITG context from the start!
Mrs Doyle’s friend, that’s Mary from the royle family isn’t it, I don’t believe it 😂
Actors who played father Ted and father jack,,,,, it’s the anniversary of both their deaths today….28/02.. perhaps a wee tribute reaction?🙂

Yes, as others have suggested, do try One Foot in the Grave!
I thought they had ,people had suggested they watch that first.
Also Mrs Doyle’s first name is Joan according to the official script book.
