Iv got a 300hp megane atm but iv had this car on hire while on holiday for a week and i fell in love with it, so pleasant to drive and relaxing, and sounds good for a 3 cylinder too, i cant belive i say this but i would swap mine for it any time

For anyone considering one of these, go for a Yaris Cross they are higher in quality with a better reputation for reliability also based with the best hybrid system on the market. You will not regret it. 😁
But it looks like a ford puma ( not a compliment ) the interior design is wors ( subjective opinion but still ) and there is no toyota in any class that goes for a premium niche. Nobody buys a volvo, audi, bmw, mercedes, jaguar, alfa, because it's better on paper or for the value for money ... these cars are purchased for the feel, brand, refinement of parts and detail, history and that satisfied feeling of going towards or away from them and looking at yourself in windows as you drive by. It's a fashion statement more than a practical, logical choice. Alfa romeo does the same thing ... it's electrics are crap, the reliability is poor, it devalues like crazy, it's temperamental and a lot of the times impractical but ... you still love them as objects of passion. Giulia or 3 series bmw or even worse vw passat ? Answer is Giulia ... the slower, less well built, more troublesome, insane, frustrating car. These cars kick you in the nuts and run away with your wallet and you still fall in love with them ... every ... flicking ... time ! :)))

Someone mentioned it has high fuel use why fit a small engine in a big car its just over stressing the engine reducing fuel economy and engine life

When I was in Austria, I saw an XC40 with a 6MT, which is very rare.
we have a Volvo v60 d3 2020 in manual gearbox it's super rare it was part of the last Volvo v60 diesel with manual transmission to leave the factory

Actually the 2.0 version, while it is faster indeed, uses even more fuel.
