- Every 16th of November - India celebrates National Press Day and commemorates the formation of the Press Council of India - an organisation that was supposed to oversee the working of the press and an organization that was supposed to ensure that our media did not fall under the influence of one man or one entity. Today is that day of the year when we celebrate our free and vibrant press - but today - it's time to ask - should National Press Day be renamed to National Godi Media Day ???

Exactly, few days ago ,i was searching all news channels for taking updates of wrestlers protest and after more than 90 minutes i found one clip of wrestlers protest...That day Godi Media is full focusing on Propaganda kerela story, IPL Matches, Anushka bhabhi's Birthday, Bhageshwar dham Baba and many more unwanted "National issues".

Media must never hide the truth and the ground reality because a bad decision or policy not corrected in time can become a bigger disaster in the future for the whole country. Govts must also welcome questions and criticism from everyone because if no one points out/highlights the mistakes and challenges of a particular govt decision or policy, then how will the govt accurately know its effectiveness and the real impact of it on the people.
