I've been watching your videos this morning as I'm painting my nails and getting ready so I've really appreciated all the content and all the makeup looks. You really do change it up and experiment and get creative, which you talked about in your making your no buy fun video. I'm so glad this project has helped you to make decisions on your blush collection! As for the engagement, congrats! I also 100% understand how you feel about engagement rings and getting engaged. My partner and I are in a very similar position to you and yours. Getting married/engaged is not a surprise a I generally feel like engagements shouldn't be up to one person. I personally want a discussion so both parties are ready and want that. I also have strong opinions on engagement rings as well and that they're very one-sided.

I was personally very excited about an engagement ring, but we also felt weird about it being one sided. My husband actually wanted an engagement ring as well so he bought a basic $10 men’s ring off amazon. It was his idea and I loved that we both got to wear an “engagement ring” of sorts!! Anyways, all that to say, I just love that you’re both doing what works for you!!🫶🏻
From what I've heard, the Tarte Amazonian Clay minis are made in a different lab than the full size. Lots of people have said they prefer the minis. Also congrats!🎉❤

Congrats on the engagement! 💞 My parents also got engaged without a ring, those weren’t thaat big at that time, only a few of their friends had one (for the woman). Maybe it became much more popular in the 2000s with the big romcom boom and TV shows, idk. Nothing wrong with that, I love romcoms (especially 90s and 2000s) but there are sooo many things that work in movies but not IRL lol. Love that you do your own thing and what works for the both of you.
You’re right, a lot of the wedding traditions that we see these days are actually relatively new and it has to do purely with wedding industry and how profitable it is - bachelorettes, bridal showers, etc

Sorry if you have answered that before, must have missed that :x To the Tarte Exposed blush: I have the same struggle with it getting hard pan all the time. I use a Tesa strip to remove it, then it works quite fine. I am using it with a brush that is not soft, but more firm. It's not my favourite blush but I am currently working on using it up (big pan already!!) because it is my most expensive blush and I don't want it to go to waste. Sorry if some of my sentences sound weird/aren't that understandable, English isn't my first language 🙈

I had constant hard pan with Tarte Exposed also, I ended up decluttering it. Congrats on the engagement! We did something similar to you, no official engagement, we're not going to have a traditional wedding either. We'll probably just have friends and family over for a backyard party since we live on a lake.

Luminoso has a golden glow, could you use that as a topper when you want gold shimmer and declutter that other NYX one you kinda hate? Obvi you would have to test it out but when you were describing the NYX one I immediately thought of Luminoso for gold shimmer.
I’ve been trying to get minis if brand has them like hourglass blush and rare beauty mascara realized I almost never finish them before it expires. The hourglass blush mini took me over 1 year to finish which I used almost daily didn’t realize their powders are only good for 12m. Plus its a lot easier to take to work or traveling.
I honestly wish every single one of my blushes were minis. Then I could conceivably get through them all!! I can't even imagine how long it will take to finish my hourglass blushes lol

Let me asked you do you use the same brush that you use for cream blushes and powder blushes? For sure! In traditional Turkish culture both partners wear engagement rings (which makes a lot more sense to me) - but apparently nowadays, that’s not always the case
