StringKing I live in California and it gets to high 80s and it still feels great and 50/50s are a breeze so I am thinking that the plastic is in constant and l guess I got lucky because this is the best face off head in the world
I've used this head consistently for about 6 months and its awesome. After about 2 months, some of its "spring" leaves. I can pinch n' pop easier than any other head on the market. I beats CEO's, Deul's, Command X's, ECD weapon X, and the Burn FO. I started off with a ceo and duel. SK Mark 2f is the best
Loved the review. My son is a CEO FO player. He really likes this head after using it at a FO draw day. It took me 5 minutes to take off the CEO and put on the StringKing 2F- was tight, but not any more difficult than a good tight head. I loved the 2 backside screws that come with locking screw shafts along with a 3rd screw that goes into the side of the stick. Provides great additional structural support. Greg you are the man for your reviews! All of you advice is awesome and perfectly on point.
Heating up water and letting the throat of the head sit in hot water for about a minute will soften the plastic at the throat to get it onto shaft in no time at all. Makes life way easier
Tyler Pezzot that’s definitely what we recommend if you’re having trouble. But we did make a few adjustments to our manufacturing to make it a little easier and we’ve gone through our current inventory to pull the ones that seem too tight. If anyone has trouble just email info@stringking.com and we’ll do what we can to help 👍
@@calebbakken8861 I didn’t have any issues with mine breaking, but it seems like other did. My water wasn’t boiling it was just warm enough so the plastic softened up a bit. So maybe just try some warm water. Can’t be much worse than a hot day at a summer tournament.
Greg - I''m not the face-off guy - my son is. But I'm a coach - and it drives me crazy when these FO guys win the draw and maybe even the GB - but can't advance the ball because their heads are so warped. 2 years ago - my son was a Duel guy. The Duel got deformed and was illegal with in 2 weeks - we would try to prolong the life with a softball - but he got too many withholding calls when the ball wouldn't come out. I would buy 3-4 Duel heads a spring / summer season and that got expensive. He now has a CEO and he loves that - but that too deforms and he can't throw the ball after he wins. He a liability with the ball in his stick. So - I'm thinking there has to be some middle ground. Anyway - I bought this head - and I like it a lot - because it maintains its shape and my son gets good performance with throwing and shooting AFTER the draw - but he's returned back to the CEO. He just likes the feel and control he has at the X. That's great - but I hope StringKing can make a return with the 3F and beef up head so that he get the control at the initial whistle AND the control down field when he's trying to make a play. Do you have any tips on how to play with a warped head after the FO is done and we're in transition? Thanks for your awesome review. You are a class act all the way.
If you are not exclusively a FOGO, you could definitely use this as stay on head. My son uses it this way. Strung up and throws just like my son’s 2A. My son’s buddy uses the 2F the same way (as a stay on head).
After half a spring season and a full summer season my mark 2f has warped and I need a softball in it. So I have to agree that the head will not warp for a month or so, but it will warp when it starts to get hot.
Hey so I'm a D-pole and I was one of the main faceoff guys at U of A this year. I was just using a superpower as my head all year just wondering if there are any suggestions on what head to use since Im mostly using a d-pole I do switch to short stick every so often to face off as well.
To expand on what Logan said, We don't grind out on 50/50's when going SNG. We rip and then either counter or step right to disrupt our opponent's exit. If you are a grinder then knee down is the stance you want.
Sage Delaney yes, I’ve had the same head through summer and now into my high school season and the head still hasn’t warped. I’m also a “foso” guy as they call it and it does just as well. The only thing I’ve notice is you will have to change your mesh about every 3-4 months.
Greg - just watched all the different reviews you've done. You seemed pretty high on the dictator when you reviewed it, but then in this video you mainly mentioned the CEO/Command X for grinders, Duel for middle of the road, and this for speed guys. What about the Dictator? is it not in the conversation? I'm looking for a back-up stick for my son who uses the Duel.
KFM211 yea as time has gone on the dictator has become more and more obsolete. I like the duel the most as of now and in the late summer look out for the Duel 2.
Do you need a different brand head to use if someone has your number or just stick with what you like? Should have a command x for instance if he needs to shake things up?
Awesome review, Greg. Really great info for all the face-off guys out there. Gave us some things to think about for the 3F too!
StringKing wait mark 3v?
Estevan Apodaca 🤐
Ohhh snaps

Couldn't agree more with this review, and actually fits into the same spectrum of heads we whipped up; awesome to hear you back it up!

StringKing that happened to me but you can wiggle it on it’s not that hard
Putting the throat in hot water made it way more fragile and my throat broke 2 games after doing so.
Will it weaken the plastic at all?

Brilliant, thanks from the UK!
Just got this head today and after watching this video I’m so excited to use it, Really great video

If the head bends a lot in hot weather, this would be great as a fall ball faceoff head

Our son faces off and stays on especially in town league. We wanted to get him a head that wasn't going to warp quickly. So far so good.
foso gang
Shane Moriarty 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 - son plays attack and middie and now I guess is part of the FOSO Gang; went 3/3 at the x and was throwing dimes with the 2F.
thanks so mu ch for the hard work and amazing vids it really help people out a lot and has helped me out a lot too
You can also use a hairdryer to heat the throat if you’re having trouble getting a head on a shaft. Goes like butter.
I think stringking has the best heads and shafts tbh
Andrew Richardson thanks dawg 👊
StringKing no problem, I have a dpole and attack head and they are both monsters
Agreed. My son has a couple of 2As, a 2V, and now the 2F (on Metal2 shafts) and the have been excellent.
Andrew Richardson they have the best mesh for sure

I have a duel, yesterday I faced off against a guy with a 2f and every time I powered through. His head just bent. It was too easy. #stxduel
maybe he just wasn't good
Yeah it gets crushed in a good 50/50, duel ftw. Too hyped for the duel 2
Do you think this head might be easier for youth players to use than the other heads on your website? Thank you!
you should check out and review the type 4f faceoff mesh
Already got my hands on some. Don't think it would make for a good review.

Michael Ong
You could just ask me and I'd tell you.
damn super power is an old school choice haha
We are sponsored by string King
Greg would it be better to go one knee down stance or stand up for a ceo regarding winning 50/50s
Mike Kowalski I know it wasn’t intended for me but ceo is for knee down. It’s not bad for stand up but it’s a solid knee down option.
To expand on what Logan said, We don't grind out on 50/50's when going SNG. We rip and then either counter or step right to disrupt our opponent's exit. If you are a grinder then knee down is the stance you want.
So will this head work in Georgia in the spring/summer season lol I don’t want it to be a noodle
What shaft is that
Next video needs to be a shaft review
Will this work well for someone who plays offense as well?

Any suggestions for FO stringing patterns

When the head gets bent, does it affect your passing?
Are you coming to Illinois any time soon?
jacob bottarini FOA was in Chicago yesterday. Follow our instagram and check our website.
hey greg android or apple?
I’m getting a stick for face offs should I get a CEO or a Mark 2f I tried neither and I’m a beginner in face offs
BryanFuzz get the 2f it holds up rly long while the ceo needs a break in period and will break way faster or just wait for ecd to drop their head
What shaft did you in for the mark 2f
Anyone watching in 2019 would you recommend this to a faceoff stay on ?
Greg what are your thoughts on the mark 2f RAW does it solve the 50/50 issue?
Thomas Brown based on what guys are telling me, pretty much the same head, different color.
so i can use this for lsm?
Do you think this head would hold up in 90 degree heat?
Shane Moriarty based on what my guys in the south say, it doesn’t do well vs stiffer heads in the humidity. But to he fair not many heads do.

How many retweets would it take on twitter for you to do a review on the Super Power U?
