  • It is exciting when you start seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. It is almost addictive. The handstand straight up is still more challenging. The pike is somehow easier. According to my teacher Ido Portal, it is because of all my years of Pilates, the habit of keeping your stomach scooped in makes the pike position easier. I need to learn how to contract my abdominals in the lengthened position. More work to do, but very happy.
