there is such a huge difference between "hardest schedule" and playing at a high level consistently. TX played maybe 3 good teams all year and many of the rest were pretty easy. It is easy to get fired up for 3 teams, it is not easy to play at 95%+ for every game to make sure you win. These non SEC teams have always had weeks against not very good teams, where they win in the last 2 minutes or it takes over-time. ( or they lose ) That will not fly against most of the SEC teams. Saban almost never lost to an unranked team because he knew how to keep EVERY game important, even the creampuff games. Once TX and OK play every week at a high level, they both have enough talent to do well. I say 2-3 years.
I agree that that’s not controversial

@@batsonelectronics good points
It doesn’t matter if Texas has hard schedule last year still gonna be hard.
Probably will struggle, but both schools joined not to win championships but the SEC jackpot money.
It's a struggle for every team because of quality, Texas and Oklahoma only make it stronger, and more of a struggle for all involved.
Glad to see Michael J Fox is doing better...lol
If you listen to Texas, they'd play God, and WIN. ON THE ROAD ! (🦆)
