Here is my idea of the story so far: In this version of Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic is a polyphagous creature due his ability for abnormal speed built, causing him to burn off calories really fast. Knuckles and tails don’t know this because Sonic hides it, and knows what they’ll do to him if they found out. Dr. Robotnik seemed to be some sort of animal biologist, engineer, and veterinarian visiting green hills to help all the defenseless animals gain defense mechanisms. Hence why we see him helping out an injured bunny into his robotic ladybug. This angered Sonic because his food was now getting hard to get, which led to him trying to framing doctor Robotnik Knuckles and tails into thinking he was trying to weaponize them, and use them to commit terrible crimes. But they didn’t believe him. After dealing with this for so long, he then decided enough was enough and killed Eggman. But it wasn’t enough, he needed more prey.
The fact that sonic can move incredible speeds whilst causing damage along the way is kind of hard to comprehend on how dangerous Sonic *really* is. That is terrifying and harrowing at the same time.
I wish knuckles could save eggman in the past, because he could be an extremely valuable asset. imagine: relaunching the death egg, recovering the phantom ruby, upgrading metal sonic and the hardboiled heavies, and building an ultimate, most durable version of the titanic monarch that is actually capable of throwing hands with shinic. I'd love this, especially as a mania fan.

I did some calculations on Sonic to see how bad it would be to be this dude in the helicopter:
So first I calculated roughly the speed at which Sonic left the cameras view and calculated it to the speed process of the human eye.
I roughly calculated Sonic needed about 0.3 seconds to leave the camera’s site and the guy’s sight also so I calculated:
“how fast must you go from being standing still to moving to escape the naked eye’s view in 0.3 seconds with no objects in the way to break eye contact?”
And I figured out that the average human reaction time is about 0.25 seconds, and the typical field of view and visual persistence of an eye, you'd likely need to move at speeds exceeding 60 miles per hour (about 100 kilometers per hour). This speed is necessary to cover enough distance in such a short time to break visual contact.
Now for now it said in the video Sonic needed “mere seconds” to get from Hill top county and Station square in a couple of seconds now I took a leap of faith and went with 3 seconds for the “mere seconds” part and I calculated: “How fast must you be going to clear 700 miles in 3 seconds?”
Now to that I figured that

Here is my idea of the story so far:
In this version of Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic is a polyphagous creature due his ability for abnormal speed built, causing him to burn off calories really fast. Knuckles and tails don’t know this because Sonic hides it, and knows what they’ll do to him if they found out. Dr. Robotnik seemed to be some sort of animal biologist, engineer, and veterinarian visiting green hills to help all the defenseless animals gain defense mechanisms. Hence why we see him helping out an injured bunny into his robotic ladybug. This angered Sonic because his food was now getting hard to get, which led to him trying to framing doctor Robotnik Knuckles and tails into thinking he was trying to weaponize them, and use them to commit terrible crimes. But they didn’t believe him. After dealing with this for so long, he then decided enough was enough and killed Eggman. But it wasn’t enough, he needed more prey.

I’m very interested in this, Sonic being this large monster akin to Siren Head & Godzilla just shows how contorting one character for years on end could result into.
And i say this as a complement, this iteration of Sonic is way scarier then Needlemouse to me.
Yeah, this man's giant form is basically the gun devil from CSM minus the bullet attacks and given more intelligence and minions. He's genuinely terrifying.
