I think that no matter what happens to ESO in the long run, even if the changes totally work out, we can be SURE, that those changes aren't being made for us. And neither will the next one.
I just started playing ESO May of this year. I don't have any nostalgia about past content. It's all new to me. But the seasons bit reminds me of the Seasons that was implemented for Diablo 3 and others. If it's going to be similar, I look forward to it.
Pantheon looks fun. I hope the studio is doing well financially and they make it to a successful 1.0, if only for the many EQ vets looking for a new home. Oh and imminence.
Before I fell in love with these types of games, I was a lost gamer. But the imminence of potential with this game has awoken a new desire for this type of social gaming. Thank you Red Beard, you are an MMO pioneer
Imminence, a gaming promise often broken, Alpha soon! The devs have spoken! The years roll past and we lose our hope, Drowned in the swamp of project scope.
Not entering the giveaway since I already have a key, just leaving a comment to boost the algorithm. Been having fun in Pantheon, also looking forward to Monsters & Memories coming out in 2026!
What is Imminence? It’s being part of something, a bond between friends and world. As you enter into pantheon, you can hear the music, the many sounds of nature and see the beauty!
I feel bad trying to multitask work while watching this video...currently hitting a cognitive wall with an inability to creatively incorporate imminence into something entertaining. Hats off to you for squeezing in quality content so consistently into your schedule.
Imminence is a Swedish metalcore band formed in Trelleborg. The group consists of vocalist Eddie Berg, lead guitarist Harald Barrett, rhythm guitarist Alex Arnoldsson, bassist Christian Höijer and drummer Peter Hanström. ☝️
The imminence of your channel growing is upon us - okay that was corny but fr I’m a og mmo guy and I enjoy watching all your videos, your content is 100% in my wheelhouse, and I appreciate the time you take for your videos and editing (I was semi active on YT for a while on another channel) Hope to play Pantheon soon, one way or the other :)
Actually had fun in Quinfall tests. Just wish the mobs at some sort of AI and just not densely packed grind fest. “The imminence of death loomed over the Erudite Shadow Knight as he stood his ground, his blade slick with ectoplasmic ichor, facing the relentless horde of advancing skeletons.” Although there are no Shadow Knights within Pantheon , I’d love to try Dire Lord
I am curious to check out the Pantheon EA. I will say that the lack of imminence of its official 1.0 launch (up to 2 years away?) is puzzling considering how long I have been hearing about this game.
Imminence... I never even heard of Quinfall or Ship of Heroes. Although I can't say I'm very interested in more mmos when Pantheon, Monsters & Memories, Evercraft and EQ3 are coming(in the hopefully not too distant future).
I've played ESO since 2014 and GMed on it since 2015. I hate how hard recruiting has gotten. Considering 2025 will either make or break ESO, I figure I can't lose.
I've been following Quinfall on Twitter for a long while, it looks like the gameplay will be fun, they've put a lot of polish into making the systems work but it really doesn't look like it has any kind of story or point, it's just a survival sandbox or something. Very interested in checking out Pantheon, considered pledging a couple years ago but they made some very concerning decisions that made me apprehensive about giving them my money before there was any game to play.
Good to hear it's finally in EA! I think Imminence was their theme for this year right? I remember hearing about it earlier in the development I think, glad to see they're really bringing that kind of feeling about. Still hoping for Bard x_x Very worried about ESO, but Quinfall's plot thickens i guess haha
I'm so excited about the Imminence of dying in this game. Most other MMOs these days don't feel worth investing in because they're so easy and don't require learning how to play. The fact that this game forces me to learn or else die makes me want to play it all the more. I'm eager to get some of my D&D buddies into the game with me.
Maintenance is a bit dramatic for ESO. Pessimism is always warranted with ZOS, but a game going to maintenance mode doesn't go back to update its old zones, a game that plans to keep pulling new players in for a long time to come does. But as for the seasons it's too early to tell because there's just a lot we don't know how the game will handle them.
Agreed. I understand the concerns and pessimism, though. Any time there's a change in cadence players who are invested in a game will get agitated and worried. Especially in this case, which I didnt mention in the video, but Zenimax is working on another MMO, or at least another "Triple AAA IP"
Pantheon key giveaway?! I missed it in the stream so, maybe I'll get it here? Also, imminence is an interesting choice. XD. I've been really enjoying your coverage and happy to catch your live streams!
Imminence? The metal band? They have dope songs, but apart from that I am really looking forward to playing Pantheon. I missed the EQ era and I really want to experience the magical exploration and the group play.
@@scottadavis8086 You are correct. The reality is that the constitution of my wallet is greatly weakened due to this being the holiday season and the little bit of coin I do possess is spent on gifts for others and holiday cheer for them. Besides, I'm quite far along in years and live on a small government stipend.
Ship of Heroes is... Alive?! I remember reading about this game a couple of years ago when i first discovered CoH, and man - it did look like a scam, or at least totally abandoned product.
Pantheon has been a heartbreaking experience for me. The fact this is the state of the game after 10 years of development. Just having a hard time getting passed that. Pax Dei has been disappointing but at least improving and they seem to take feedback in a positive way and I think it prob shares an audience with Quinfall which is why I mention it. Hoping EQ3 doesnt take another 10 years. Ill be retired at that point and hopefully doing cool RV things with my wife.
If I were to throw a dart randomly at a target for EQ3...I'd say 6 years at least of dev unless they really do go the reboot route which could shorten it. It seems like they want to do it on the cheaper side, too so no "EQ Next" type ambition. The time it takes to develop and make mmos and the huge costs involved are a big part of why a lot of studios dont want to make them.
@Redbeardflynn totally get that development time.looking back, it's crazy what devs were able to accomplish I'm the early days. WoW was only in dev for what, 5 years? Wonder if Darkpaw is taking investment. Id be willing to put up real money for a EQ3 even if it is just a remaster. I'm so disappointed with the current mmos. I'm playing project quarm and Project Gorgan a bit. Everything new just feels like a cash grab or incomplete.
I hope the there is imminence regarding my account support request because I can't log in to Pantheon. It's almost like they don't want me to play. Sigh. 10 years of waiting only to hit an administrative error message. fml.
Your Imminence, please grant me a boon! ;) I started with EQ in 2000, when I got bacterial pneumonia (I know, yuck, right?) and was bedridden (with a laptop thank God) for three months. A friend of mine from DragonMUD (where I was an elder and prolific content creator) sent me a copy of EQ with a sticky note saying: "Look what they did to MUDs!" I was crafting officer -- the first in any guild afaik -- in The Raenore on EMarr, and also afaik invented spamming selling 10 slot bags from the cave in the commons. So you can blame me -- I invented EQ spam. ;) Pantheon looks interesting.
iMMINENCE, the word makes sense, seeing as the cast he has is as big as the MMO genre. Uhm, oops. I guess that net isn't too big, might've been better to use a thimble to gather that MMO kibble.
Is there any part of ESO's Tamriel that hasn't been explored? From carnivorous elves to trans lizards I loved it all, but there comes a time for good things to end. Between superheroes and *another* MMO? Realistically neither but at knife point, I'd give Quinfall a try, just to see what's going on, and get some boots on the ground.
Hear me out... ShmeverQuest Smee, far future schi-fi+magic theme. Go nuts with the lore, seriously, nuts. The barriers between Norrath and the Planes have been shattered, making travel possible only via Spell Jammer-style ships. The imminence of big tech's takeover looms, but the gods continue to hold their ground with magic. In this expansive sandbox world, numerous factions vie for your allegiance. Learn magic and tech skills to create the character you want with an open skill system. I really need a good sci-fi mmo...
Totally maintenance mode in ESO, would even say dead game. I would not start as new player anymore and as old player would not spend any money. It's low effort last sundowning now.
Those superhero MMOs faded into oblivion. I'm surprised to hear about them again. Figured they just ran out of money and withered away. ESO winding down and cutting costs it sounds like. As old as it is, it's nothing surprising or concerning. EQ3 - I hope they just do a full reboot and don't try to make it a sequel "3"
I think that no matter what happens to ESO in the long run, even if the changes totally work out, we can be SURE, that those changes aren't being made for us. And neither will the next one.

It's amazing how so many of us Pantheon fans were unaware of the imminence of EA being so early. I'm excited!
Thanks to all the alpha testers for Pantheon , may you guys continue alpha testing the game so i can play a full game when it releases.
"In every pause, in every beat,
Imminence lingers, bittersweet.
A promise hidden in the air,
A future close, yet always rare."
The Imminence of me finally getting to try Pantheon is near!

Imminence, a gaming promise often broken,
Alpha soon! The devs have spoken!

All my characters live with the imminence of death every time I play Pantheon.
The imminence of Christmas would be better with Pantheon
Not entering the giveaway since I already have a key, just leaving a comment to boost the algorithm. Been having fun in Pantheon, also looking forward to Monsters & Memories coming out in 2026!
Appreciate you Morraak!
Nice overview. I am not sure I want to get into a hardcore EQ experience again, but those are some great memories.
The imminence of an EQ spiritual successor took a long time but hopefully pantheon can live up to it.
I am lovin Pantheon. Got to play w/ Dayjhawk last night, and hope to play with you in game soon! My enchanter hit 8 last night :)
You could say that in the Imminence of Pantheon's early access, it may have been greatly underestimated.
The imminence of this giveaway is exciting indeed!
The Imminence of the return of old school MMOs is a wonderful thing.
What is Imminence? It’s being part of something, a bond between friends and world. As you enter into pantheon, you can hear the music, the many sounds of nature and see the beauty!
The Imminence of jingling bells and snow this next week means, Merry Christmas y'all :)
Imminence, the sweet imminence of scratching that nostalgia itch of the first time I saw a hill giant in West Karana circa 1999.

The Imminence of Pantheon’s release fills me with excitement, readying me for countless adventures in its immersive world.
Been watching Pantheon closely. Games like the imminence Everquest, are what brought me to your channel
Imminence! Wish they would take this word to heart and get out the buddy keys that people have paid for!
the Imminence of me getting my buddy key will be so sweet. I sure do hope its soon!
The Imminence of the time for Pantheon to come out is hanging in the air, and I cannot wait to check it out!
I am curious to check out the Pantheon EA. I will say that the lack of imminence of its official 1.0 launch (up to 2 years away?) is puzzling considering how long I have been hearing about this game.
Imminence hangs in the air, that fleeting moment before magic turns myth into reality.
Hey RBF, that's a sharp looking brown shirt/coat. Where's you get that? I'm feeling strong Firefly cos-play potential.
I love this coat so much! It's super-old, I got it at Old Navy ages ago.
The imminence of Redbeardflynn's Quinfall stream will be unparalleled!
The Imminence of me being a part of Pantheon community is a must
Ooh dude i loved the band Imminence as a kid. Emo-ing out to songs like Bring Me to Pantheon, My Pantheon, and Call Me When You're in Pantheon
Imminence...
I never even heard of Quinfall or Ship of Heroes. Although I can't say I'm very interested in more mmos when Pantheon, Monsters & Memories, Evercraft and EQ3 are coming(in the hopefully not too distant future).
We live in the imminence of a new age of MMORPGs… let’s hope it’s a good one, lads.
The populace was largely unaware of the imminence of buddy keys!
That give away phrase was great at the start. Now, if only you could pronounce it Loose-Lin. Enjoy your day and keep up the good work,
the imminence of buddy keys going out better be swift!
I've played ESO since 2014 and GMed on it since 2015. I hate how hard recruiting has gotten. Considering 2025 will either make or break ESO, I figure I can't lose.
Looking forward to playing this I never got the chance to play eq back in the day. Almost forgot imminence.
In the imminence of a boss fight, my carefully crafted strategy disappears faster than my inventory space after a loot drop.
Hopefully the Imminence of me getting to play Pantheon is a reality!

The Imminence of Pantheon's playercount dropping is frightening... only you can stop it by increasing it by +1!
It’s not gonna drop. It will keep increasing. Just sit back and watch
Me being able to check out Pantheon is of upmost Imminence mostly because I am a huge fan of Vanguard: Saga of Heroes and I miss this game a lot.
I can see it now with ESO: Battle passes sold through their crown store now that they're going seasonal.
I think that's the big concern when you hear "seasonal" tied to ESO and their monetization, yeah.
I hope I can Imminence (imminently) try out Pantheon after its long development, which is still on going.
Good to hear it's finally in EA! I think Imminence was their theme for this year right? I remember hearing about it earlier in the development I think, glad to see they're really bringing that kind of feeling about. Imminence is what I feel when watching your content. Great video as always.
I can only hope this imminence pans out - Hopefully pantheon can remain a healthy game to play.
Imminence, there you go. May the RNG god be in my favor
I've never actually used the word Imminence before.
I was largely unaware of the imminence of Quinfall 😊
The imminence of me winning a key is palpable.
Imminence is a Swedish metalcore band formed in Trelleborg, get them into the game too!
The imminence of me winning a key to Pantheon should make the rest of you lament your loss at such an opportunity.
@@Dadsezso or you could do what I did and buy the game for 40 bucks and play. 🤷♂️

I enjoyed ESO a lot, but man the year long rinse and repeat SUCKED. I hope the smaller things help out.
Having fun with Pantheon, hope it keeps getting better so i can bring some friends into it :D Also Imminence
i feel the imminence resurgence of old school mmorpg's
imminence in an old school mmo is what I seek :)
Damien, be wary of the imminence of the Varundi.
Ship of Heroes is... Alive?! I remember reading about this game a couple of years ago when i first discovered CoH, and man - it did look like a scam, or at least totally abandoned product.

Imminence: something imminent, especially impending evil or danger. In this case, the thought that Quinfall might be another Day Before style rip off
You say imminence, I say eminence. Patheon surely takes imminence/eminence, in a world of lackluster MMO’s.
Imminence is a word, I've used that word without using that word what it's for.
This really was the year of imminence!
I'm so excite due to imminence of the full launch of this game. Also imminence, imminence, imminence, imminence and imminence! lol
Imminence. I want to see what all the hype is about :P
The Imminence of Imminence is very Immenencing
Is Imminence the name of your Pantheon guild or something?
getting lots of time in pantheon right now but I am looking forward to ship of hearoes
My worry about ESO is that many of the things they are promising with the new content seasons are the same promises they've made for many years.
imminence, that's that one Enya song right? :)
