It is very simple, do not start an illegal war of aggression against another country and your assets will be safe. Why are you trying to muddy the water here, Russias illegal war is an atrocity of a scale not seen since WW2. Russia is so objectively in the wrong here. If they did not like this arrangement, they should have divested the assets before their illegal invasion of Ukraine. They have no one else to blame than themselves.

Giving Ukraine Russian profits from Russian money is a crazy idea.
Russia has to pay for all of the buildings they destroyed in Ukraine and they owe money to all of the refugees who fled to Europe and they owe NATO for all of the weapons that NATO is giving to Ukraine.
