I was there in February 2003 I happened to be on a flight with Zoe Ball and her brother Neil and then met them again here... This place is more than paradise. I have never ever been to a better place than this on our planet. You could pluck the stars from the sky x
I never thought I could or would relax watching someone else relax.
I had working this resort for 2 years as a spa therapist 2009-2011)and Seychelles is one of my best memorable, I missed Seychelles and wish to comeback there again.Appreciate for making this video🙏🏾🙏🏾😀khoob Khun kha

What a beautiful location. Resort surrounded by lush green cocoanut 🌲🌳🌴, long corridor overlooking the Indian Ocean, white pastel colour of the hotel, infinity pools, a serene tranquil environment mesmerizing. The vibrant floor color, beautiful sea beach are all good things to become a nice staying.
Brought back wonderful memories. I have been looking forward to this video. My wife and I stayed at the Banyan Tree Seychelles for our honeymoon. It is a stunning place and you have captured in just as we remember it. We will be back there one day!

I stayed in this hotel several years, ago. Its amazing: Seychelles are extremly hot an humid. I didnt appreciate this. All the rest is simply fantastic 💓💓💓

I lost my wedding band snorkeling off Anse Intendance April 2011, just off the rocks at 5:20... Otherwise one of the most idyllic hotels on the planet! Thank you for all the experiences, QAF😊
i stayed in this hotel, in the coco de mer hotel and constance lemuria last december and in january this year
watching this video makes me kinda sad, it was the most dreamiest holidays i have ever had

I bathed at Anse Intendance 30 years ago. The bay was untouched by any construction. Not a wave, just a light surf and the sun ... One of the most beautiful of my travel memories. Mahe was still a very uncrowded island.
The clip by itself made me feel relaxed. It speaks for itself.

I've never stayed in a resort..I'm lucky if I make it out of Iowa....I live and dream thru your videos...Thank you so much for showing such wonderful places I've always dreamed about...
We were there a couple of times. In sept 2001 I had a bet with one of the executives of Banyan Tree when we were in the surf on the beach cooling off on the finishing of the hotel. He said it would be ready in december, it took quite a bit longer and we won a free night. We returned in 2005 and stayed a full week. The hotel is for those who seek rest and peace. The surf on the beach is fantastic but can be sometimes a bit dangerous. Villas are immaculate.
Saffron is really good. Went again in 2013, same quality although there were more buildings at the end of the beach were the public beach is and it can get busy on the weekends. Anse Georgette beach at Lemuria on Praslin is even more exotic and beautifull although this beach has by far the best surf and you can go anytime as it is public. The only downside of Banyan Tree is the price. It is quite expensive to stay and to get there but if you can afford it you won’t be dissapointed.

@@luxurytravelexpert North Island with rates around 8000 Euro per night is just pure madness. It is phenomenal hotel, but the price... Even for millionaires it is very expensive. And in Banyan tree you can stay for 11x lower price :D

I need to go to this or another island in Seychelles...I couldn’t stay at this place...a “beatle” owned it? Yikes...glad the people took back what’s theirs. I would want to stay somewhere else herein this tropical 🏝 place ...great video.

Great video! Will be going to Seychelles next June/July. Sadly it seems the Banyan Tree is closed and has been since 2020. All I could find was it was closed for “renovations” but seems weird that there is such little information online. Hope it reopens soon.

During my stay (march 2019) the Lamaar Restaurant was not open. The Main-Restaurant was just ok, but the Saffron is my favorite Restaurant world wide.

Amazing hotel and island and amazing video as usual! Regarding the fact that there is no beach bar on the beach I guess it's a sophisticated choice,maybe it's inconvenient for guests but they keep the scenery unspoiled and pristine!
Beautiful. I have always wondered why when hotels have a beach and have access to the ocean that they would have pools. What were those birds that were making noise at dusk? Was there a beauty salon? I would love to stay there.

Such a gorgeous resort! Do you happen to know what birds you hear before entering the restaurant where they serve Creole and Moroccan food? I think the birds are in that banyan tree.
Still good old memories- i was there as a day guest at the restaurant- beach is beautiful but the sea might be dangerous...
