As a native Scot myself, I was uneasy about killing Pitcairn, Templar though he was. I have played nearly every game in Assassin's Creed and of all the Templars, only Pitcairn was a truly good man.

Not a Templar, but Tariq from Revelations should also be on the list of targets that were truely good. Hell, he meant to track down and destroy any and all Templar precense in Constinople.
And William Johnson? What of him?
@@dotdot4701 Threatened to massacre the leaders of the Iroquois when they wouldn't capitulate. Even Haytham, in the novelisation, thought he was stupid and deserved what he got for that.

That phrase stumped me, Pitcairn said so genuinely. He was a good person. His speech along with Johnson, Hickey and Church are true and timeless.

I have seen this account on Cobra Kai Video's, Rocky Video's, and now in 13k viewed Assassin's Creed Video's. Is this account used by a lot of people?

Pitcairn was the best Templar in this, didn’t quite have the downfall of the rest of them, even William Johnson seemed good for a while until the way he turned on the Iroquois later. Pitcairn was true to the end, someone more likable than other Templars like Torres or the Templars from Rogue.
Hickey might be the most interesting out of the more villainous AC3 Templars though.
hickey is definitely interesting, and joining the templars even with his lack of a moral compass makes me want to know more about him.

@@pradabearsChurch and Hickey were the most morally questionable but Church wasn’t that interesting IMO. Like yeah he was good as a villain but he was a coward and greedy, just a typical traitor. Hickey would be loyal to the end not because it’s right or even as a Templar but job security, he just wanted a beer in one hand and a ti’y in the other.

I know Ubisoft is currently too embarrassed to say Assassins and Templars (which is why they’re now called Hidden Ones and Order of Ancients), but I do wish we got more Templars like Haythem. I like the charming, reasonable, silver-tongued antagonists.
They are still called assassins and templars its just the most recent games are all set before those specific groups were created/named
Pitcairn was a great honour man for the British Empire and he did well fighting what was best for which is King and Country and he soon got a memorial island named after him as well.
Nah Pitcairn Island was named after one of his kids who was the first to spot the island.
There are always strings on us, nature's strings for instance. Freedom is a state of a mind that is achieved once you reach a position of control over something that you deem more important than the rest.
John Pitcairn raises great points while Connor is naive and he's like "It is best to believe in something than none at all." Just pisses me off that he's thinking himself wise after Haytham puts him in his place he still didn't learn shit.

It’s kind of like……. wait for it……. Character progression bro Lol And to say Connor didn’t learn anything throughout the entire game means you either didn’t fully play the game or don’t understand the story

P.S, I also how Haytham took quite a fonding of Major Pitcairn. When he first met him, he 'immediately liked him'. His calm demeanor, his straightfowardness when he merely asks if Braddock can allow himself to explain.
It's more cutscenes with John. Some cutscenes when he's sitting in the bar. And when he, Lee and Johnsson looking at Paul and Connor when they're destroying the boxes on the boat. And on the Braddock Expidition when John, Haytham, Church, and Johnson is riding on horses. Sorry for bad English. I'm not so good on English. I'm from Sweden. But I think you understand what I mean :)

Ok. It's pretty unnecessery to have the scenes when John is sitting on the bar in some other cutscenes. He's often in the bakground and do not say so much. And the riding scene to, I understand how you're thinking. And in the mission Tea Party when Samuel, Connor and Paul throw down boxes with Tea in the mission Tea Party. Then John stands with William and Charles and looking at them when they're destroying the Tea. John stands beside William but you can almost not see him. First time I did not saw that it was Pitcairn. Just another unnecessery "bakground scene". :) But you have done I Great work. With all the characters! And John is one of my favorites!
Pitcairn was good in real life but in the game they changed his personality a bit if any noticed after mission that took place jurying and after the battles of Lexington and Concorde Pitcairn supposedly killed a bunch of innocent people and being proclaimed a monster by the patriot leaders
I really like Pitcairn Island though I cannot visit personally we have the technology to see it virtually

I didn't like the way they made Braddock look in this; he looked 40-45 at most. He was actually 60 when he died and he sounded quite English despite being from Perthshire. I did like his script but they could have done more.
That makes me angry in films especially, when they have a Scottish character but don't get a Scottish actor. Why do that?

His last words were honestly so true. Connor's idealism was truly annoying and boring
That's Connor's whole deal: he is using the Assassins for his naive goals and at the end he failed to protect the only thing he cared about.
