- Harbin, otherwise known as 'The Ice City'. What an amazing place, I was lucky enough to spend Chinese New Year exploring the city. Here is what I got up to, including a visit to the INCREDIBLE Ice and Snow Festival!!!

I feel very nostalgic about Harbin. City of my childhood.
Nice video Harvey
Thanks Alex
Stunning out there
I can’t believe all those were build from the snow ❄️
It's incredible
You gotta visit mate!
Now you start to appreciate how the Chinese government can generate that much energy to heat all those homes and still be affordable to ordinary Chinese. Just take the energy cost in the UK now as an example and you will shake your head !
I was amazed to find out that whole apartments in dongbei are centrally heated for 8 months a year, and they stay at a particular temperature without turning off! Pretty crazy 😳
Don't get me stared on UK energy prices 😂 especially now that oil prices have fallen yet companies still charge excessive amounts. No wonder energy companies are reporting record profits
@@Harveyinchina It's funny how the massive continuous strikes in the UK are not being reported by the western mainstream media, but is by CGTN ! ...LoL ruclips.net/video/_go60IPjBdI/видео.html
@@etow8034 It's a serious problem. Nurses, ambulance drivers, train drivers, service workers, all unhappy (can't really blame them)
@@Harveyinchina The price of make believe "Democracy" which is the UK !
The ice sculptures are very beautiful, to think the entire ice city is built in 3-4 weeks then it begins to melt away late March.(that's a quick search online)
I think I saw one bottle of vodka for $18 AUD, that's very inexpensive. It was so good watching everyone enjoying themselves.
Wow, that's pretty quick. I thought it would take a lot longer to be honest!
Yeah, those Russian shops were stacked full of loads of different types, maybe I should have bought some to warm myself up haha
The entire park is usually built in 15 days.
@@cathys2307 hi Cathy, 15 days to build an ice city is pretty incredible, I would love to experience it for myself.
很棒的视频,哈尔滨很漂亮
good video, very wanted to visit harbin
Harbin ❤️❤️ I love the city.Heilojiang Province .Cool & splendid.
It's amazing!!!
Have you been?
An extremely romantic and cold shot: two people lying on the snow looking at the sky
😂😂😂
I am certain this year’s Harbin Snow and Ice Festival ice carving competition would be the star of the show.
Even the tough judging process for the entries
Beautiful place!
Harbin is so amazing. I know that was an event and not the city. It was already mentioned when it wentsomewhat viral on tiktok.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Wow really nice one!!! Love the b rolls too
Thanks man 😁
👍👍❤❤
😁
that was epic.. but i notice this year there are not that many gigantic sculptures.. but still one in a life time journey..
Oh really?
I have nothing to compare it to, as this was my first year going, but next year I will be going again so I can compare!
He's looking at snow carvings. Not an ice sculpture. The ice carving is in another place. Snow carvings seem to be in the peony river
Funny how the prices change, when I went to the ice and snow world it was 276RMB 😂
Yeah, it’s a little more expensive than I would’ve liked, but still worth it I think!
Hi...wanna ask whether how much the price if want join local tour to snowtown..
Drone allowed?
Hi, can I check if the ticket really have to be bought on the spot? Can tourist buy them in advance?
I have a full video guide to Harbin, video will be uploaded on Wednesday night 9pm (Beijing time)
