How to Use a Non-Contact Thermometer
    1. Ensure batteries are installed, or the device is charged.
The device may need time to warm up and adjust to the room temperature when it is turned on.
The Berrcom contactless thermometer requires 10-15 minutes of 'warm up' time when installing the batteries for the first time or after not being used for a long time.
    2. Each thermometer is likely to have slightly different instructions on which buttons to press when preparing to take a temperature reading.
On the Berrcom thermometer, press the On/Scan button.
    3. Some contactless thermometers take readings of surfaces as well as bodies. Make sure the thermometer is set to the appropriate body temperature setting if needed.
On the Berrcom thermometer, press the MODE button until the screen displays "BODY"
    4. Check your thermometer is displaying temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
The Berrcom displays both, and you need to press and hold the MODE button to switch between the two.
    5. Follow the instructions on your product to take a temperature reading.
On the Berrcom thermometer, position the lens of the thermometer at the centre of the person's forehead, 3-5cm away. Ensure you hold it at arm's length. Press the On/Scan button once more, and the temperature reading will be displayed on the screen.
