These pads are very expensive.
For that price I would expect good quality.
Ordered a choice suede pair for my AKG371.

There is another reason to change earpads; the Sennheiser come with velour earpads which get super hot in the summer and they could get very wet, switching to a leather earpad would fix that & be easy to dry off if they got a bit sweaty.

I didn’t feel any difference except the better seal was a bit tighter low end.
But that’s because my old pad was so worn out so the seal wasn’t great.
