You should interview Saina Nehwal and P V Sindhu too. Saina Nehwal brought revolution in Indian badminton like no other athelete when our country of 1.3 billion people had no much interest left in badminton sport. This turned out to be a great episode simply because Prannoy was fluent in English, which is unfortunately not the case with East/South East Asians.
As an Indian fan, I am equally disappointed that Thomas cup win, which is an extraordinary achievement went only so far in lifting badminton in India. Cricket still holds an unhealthy lead here.
Prannoy brings a lot of joy to us fans, but disappoints in equal measure. He will beat the best in rounds 1 & 2, but goes out in quarters. Analysing this, it may be because of the intensity he puts into his game and the fact that his only scoring shot is probably the smash, which he is very good at but takes a lot out of him physically.

@@rashigupta5995 Ig he was talking about the period before Chirag & Satwik cuz before them India's doubles was average at best ofc we had great singles, women's doubles or even mixed doubles but we never really had a good men's double pair that could beat world's finest.I remember the last men's double from India to come close to beating world champions was in the 2000's (Jaseel Ismail,Vincent Lobo, V Diju, etc all from Kerala). @@TheBadmintonExperience Yeah he isn't comfortable enough with english so...
A translator could complicate things, I guess. That wouldn't feel fluid enough for a podcast. But if something was possible, everyone would definitely love it.

India is leader in hockey, cricket chess and recently batminton,we have 8 olympics gold in hockey dream for any nation even indonesia not win 8 gold in batmintion instead hockey is more togher and more popular than batminton,we also produce tennis players in men double they are world no 1 many years like leander paes, mahesh buphati, and women single like sania mirza india also won wimbledon many time, but i cant understand why you consider only cricket, that true we are not good at olympics beacuse of our government we dont focus on olympics but now we also improve in olympics incoming years.

We would love to do that! We already had both Kim Astrup and Anders Skaarup Rasmussen on at the same time 😀.. - But for sure I think we will have an episode with multiple guests on - Who would you like to see come on the show?👀

@@TheBadmintonExperience Maybe two players from Europe, doesn't really need from same country which you all can chat on podcast, or even players from Asia. Because more guests will give more opinions which I think will make the podcast more interesting ☺️☺️☺️
