Ditch that skinny ubend/ trap. It will give you enough room and it will only block up. All mine are straight to the skin fitting, never had a blockage or a smell problem. Perhaps the occasional spider crawls up, who knows?😂
A dishwasher and a freezer, presumably a fridge, where is the electricity coming from if not on shorepower? I would say that I get by with my fridge and icebox, but I don't buy a lot of frozen food. In summer when fridge and freezer would work hard you might find the galley gets warm.

Yeah, you're right. Traps are only there to prevent smells in houses. We don't necessarily need them.

No U bend, just a small diameter hose to exterior., above the waterline! Has to be accessible without removing all the cabinetry
