I had never heard of a proxy manager before. I was able to set up foxy proxy. And now I can switch my proxy settings quickly for using burp and zap. Thank you.
So if I close the OWASP window and reopen the OWASP Juice shop. The browser takes time to load the heroku platform URL with the foxyproxy on. But the moment I switch it off. It works fine. Why is that? Can you explain? Please. Thank you.
I am not sure if I fully understand your situation. However, if your page is not loading with foxy proxy on, make sure to check two things. First, if the port you are listening on is equal in both Burp and foxy proxy. Second, check if Burp Intercept is turned off, otherwise the request will not reach the web server.
@@darrianmciver6486 It does not really matter. If you have a fully functioning network setup (natted or bridged) inside your VM, then you are good to go with a VM as well. Go check out www.offensive-security.com/kali-linux-vm-vmware-virtualbox-image-download/ where you can download VM ready Kali images, which btw also come with Burp installed
