For those who have purchased one of these, how has it performed for you? Any idea who it's actually manufactured by? I've been trying to determine if spare electrodes are available. Contacted VEVOR support and they said they are not available for sale.
Greetings, I am looking for fiber splicing for small and large jobs, I have always used FUJIKURA AND SUMITOMO, in the companies I have worked for, this time it is to solve my own business and not have to rent. WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND ME REGARDING VEVOR?
Every splicer less than 10 years old will have a tension test function. The problem with these splicers is vevor dont sell spare batteries or electrodes, so you do 3000 splices and throw it away.
My old Fitel 175 had a tension test. Every splicer Ive used since the 90s has a tension test. Not sure ive ever seen one without. I do however only use Fitel,Fujikura, Sumitomo and Inno.
Got one and it woks well and easy. You can easily get your return in a few good jobs.
Wow I like that splice, I just got mine today and I'm about to try it.
