Damn dude, this video is so nostalgic because of the upload date and music at the beginning. I had just transferred to JBLM WA in the Army 8 years ago, good times. Edit: forgot to mention Sweet truck too. Awesome job👍👍
For everyone whose wondering about the s14, I ended up selling it this summer, not to longer after making the video someone hit the rear quarter of it.
another 3 point slow? i would have gone with a 3.4l out of a tacoma or a newer 4runner. also should bob the tail and get rid of the ugly spare mount, looks like alot of work for a fairly stock final product good work on the SAS is it locked f/r, it wont be a rockcrawler untell you fix the departure angle and have lockers
I made both, they were made from 4x6 box tubing 1/4 wall, and I believe I got them in 8 foot lengths and they cost me $160 each, and I probably spent around $140 on grinding wheels, welding gas and supplies. so about $460 to make both. The front bumper I also bent up a stinger for it. I might make another video now that its done.
Seriously awesome truck. You did the world justice bringing that thing back to life

I hated the 3.0 V6 in my 94 4Runner, gutless wonder. Now the 22RE in my '85 truck was bulletproof.
Sweet build!
I'm in college full time and working on a yota I know the pain

I was very impressed until the ugly spare tire mount. Maybe a angled in the bed one would look better. IMO
