Am just new here to learn Italian language, your teachings are very good. Thank you so much
Ma'am one trick I used to learn months from september to december.. is by using numbers 7 to 10 and add bre/mbre to it
Like sette becomes settembre
Otto becomes ottobre
Nove becomes novembre
Dieci becomes dicembre.
Thank you so much by helping us learn italian in such an easy way. 🙏🙏
Great trick! That's actually the origin of the names of the months! ;)
OMG 10Q so much !❤
These tricks are much to implement.
People always think in a square way, we have a problem getting out of the runway where we can make the run much shorter.

Unfortunately, I'm currently fully booked and therefore I'm not accepting new students, but if you want to take lessons from me I also have an online course version of my tutoring lessons, that follows the exact same curriculum I use in person with my tutoring students.
It includes listening to selected Italian songs, video lessons on grammar and pronunciation, and interactive exercises to practice all you learned immediately.

Hi! Thank you for the great videos! Your short and simple topics are very important for beginners, as I am. I've been learning Italian by myself with a coursebook and Duolingo app about a year. I watch Italian 101 periodically, it's a wonderful and helpful channel too. I adore Italy and it's people. I wish, one day, I come to get a voyage through the country using Italian freely. By the way, oggi è il sei agosto))))
In bocca al lupo, Marina! *Good luck with your Italian learning journey!
Thank you so much I learn more about Italy now❤❤❤❤❤❤

👍🇺🇸 perfect I like
" Oggi è il primo novembre ", thank you for your another great video Valentina, grazie 🤍
Perfetto, Gége!
Ben fatto😍
Ahah! Grazie e brava!
I wanted to say the year too, as that is tricky.
True! I'm going to make a video on thousands in Italian (we do not break up the year like in English). Meanwhile, have you checked out my playlist on Italian numbers? If you have your numbers fresh in mind, it's going to be easier ;)

Thanks Stella, you made me know how to say months... Oggio è il venti sei Maggio.
Great, I'm glad it was helpful! we spell numbers as one word: Ventisei 😉
Good job
molto bene
Thank you so much, it was very helpful, you make my way of learning Italian easier, but i didn't understand the one why it's "Oggi è l'8 Ottobre", but not like the others "Oggi è il otto Ottobre"?
I'm glad the video was helpful! We say "l'otto" because "otto" begins with a vowel, therefore we need a different article. If you want to learn more about articles, I have a recorded live class available for purchase on my website, it's a 1-hour class with tons of examples and easy explanations of ALL the rules about articles in Italian. I hope that helps too! www.valentinastellatutor.com/register/live-class-with-valentina-stella-12march22/

Buona Sera, Valentina! Oggi è il primo Aprile. Ciao! ✨
Perfetto, Marek!
Oggi é il ventri due marzo! grazie valentina!
Bravo! Ma attenzione: "ventidue" (we spell numbers as one word and there's no "r" in "venti" ;) )
🙏, nice explained.. but a question is
What we say 29 February(lipear year/day).?
We just apply the same rules. We just don't name it for 3 years :D Try saying it yourself!
Hi Valentina, It's normal in English to say 1st of May, rather than May 1st. Just the Americans tend to put the month first. Thoroughly enjoying your lessons as we've just bought a house near Orvieto and need to get up to speed in Italian 😊
Ah! Congratulazioni per la nuova casa, Philip! Orvieto is so beautiful. Thanks for your feedback (most of my students are Americans so that's why I always emphasize this concept) and "in bocca al lupo" for your Italian learning journey! *good luck
@@ItalianTeacherValentina Gracie mille, Valentina. We head out on Tuesday for our first long visit (and plenty of DIY to do, plus lovely meals in Orvieto 😃)

Any advice on rolling the “R’s”. No matter how hard I try I cannot do it
Hello Valentina, your videos are very helpful and thank you for sharing the knowledge! I am a beginner, do you have any recommendations of Italian books in Italian-English version for self-study? I would like to book your online class but unfortunately I am living in different timezone so its hard to set it up.
Ciao Khanh, benvenuto! (* welcome)
I don't have any recommendations for books as I personally don't like books for learning languages, I often find them too stiff and I don't like the way the curriculum is organized, especially for grammar. Also, they don't provide much opportunity to practice listening and pronunciation, which are crucial, especially at the beginning.
That's why for my lessons I've developed my own curriculum that involves listening, vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar, all in small, doable units that are easy to digest and assimilate.
I understand that a different time zone can make taking lessons from Italy a problem unfortunately. That's also one of the reasons why I developed the online course version of my tutoring lessons, which follows the exact same curriculum I use in person with my tutoring students.
It includes listening to selected Italian songs, video lessons on grammar and pronunciation, and interactive exercises to practice all you learn immediately.

@@khanh5878 Anche a te, Khanh! :) *you too
Thanks for great lesson. But, how do we say for 21st day of the month? Thanks!
Same way we use for all other days! If you need to review your numbers, please have a look at my dedicated playlist ;) ruclips.net/p/PLaeKp_sNLJVwhka0YVN_PA1actVVFRY5t
Thank you again for another good lesson. Today is Tuesday January 24. Where would martedì go in the sentence? Would this be correct? Oggi è il martedì ventiquattro gennaio.
Ottima domanda! When saying the name of the day, we drop the article. So "Oggi è martedì ventiquattro gennaio" is the correct form.
Ma'am you come to online classes please I would like to learn Italian language
Ciao Mayank, here's the link to my online course "Italian 101": www.valentinastellatutor.com/how-to-enroll-in-the-italian-course-101/
🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Do you have a video for telling time? Like how would you say 8:15 in the morning? Or 4:30 at night? In Italy do you have AM and PM? Or is 16:45 for 4:45 PM (in the afternoon)?
I don't yet but it's definitely on my list. We do not have AM or PM but we don't really use the 24hr format either in speaking. We just add "di mattina"/ "di sera" or similar expression as needed. You can watch my video on the parts of the day to learn more about this: ruclips.net/video/2K8OhUfsPH0/видео.html
