Damn, why you gotta be so mean? I'm a black girl and I found her performance very genuine and fun. I love her voice and her portrayal of this character. There's nothing wrong with the fact that she didn't have a lot of "soul" in terms of the singing style and, in any case, you can tell that the performance came from her actual soul. Ik it's cheesy but it's true

I have my opinion and I can be as "negative" as I want to be and there's nothing you can do about it. Her singing was atrocious. And just because she is a singer doesnt make her more talented than me when u don't know what MY talent is. Can she draw better than me? I doubt it? FOH. She butchered that song and her voice sounds like it's been trained by white breads and not from anyone in the black church which does make her an Oreo to black ears.
@@Juwar1974 it very well may be true that she can't draw like you, but best believe her talent has gotten her farther than yours has and that's for damn sure! Otherwise you'd be doing something other than hiding behind a screen tearing another person down that you don't even know.
