In my opinion this is why fashion designers should strive to learn both male and female lines sewing techniques, because this technique is well known by all female fashion design style tailors, and fashion design itself has no defined boundaries between male and female couture. I think we tailors that sews female wears does this as often as possible and it’s very basic to us. I think I’m now more interested in male outfits, seems I’m gonna be extremely good in it and with less stress compare to female wears. This video is a motivation right now for me

Thanks for the lecture sir. But if I may ask, in this particular neck turning are we still going to add a placket to it for ease so it can pass the head for I observed there is neither a zip at the side of d shoulder or a placket at d front.
if I can answer, he did say when cutting the front facing that he prefers it to be 7inches so it can balance with his placket. means he's going to cut the front to create a placket please

This particular neck piping has been even before piping..... Lowkey there's no new technique in fashion we're just recycling old techniques

But after several washing the emmy open will not be effective and the cloth will open again
