Okay already loyal fans of Jason Castro, I have recently joined the Castroville Fan. The more I learn of this guy, the more I like him. My 4 kids enjoy his music all day, and I am now sold. I am going to take his music to work as I take care of my patients, thanks for sharing him to the world.

Jason, I am absolutely addicted to your voice. I can't get enough of your singing so I've listened to every song hundreds of times. Someone had better give you a really good recording contract and soon. What have you done to all of us to make us love you SO much?!?! You're amazing!
I'm looking forward to his first CD. I know he will do so well. His style is perfect for just listening to on a beautiful afternoon with your family and friends! This guy has a real future in music....can't wait!!!

i never did watch american idol before. never know why everyone loves it. then one boring day, my brother decided to watch it. lo and behold, i saw jason. it's good to know his christian. half of me wants him to win, the other one doesn't. whatever the case will be, i hope he won't forget the ministry, the church and Jesus. keep rocking, jason....
LOVE his voice! It's just pure and simple. I love simple and pure. It's calm and relaxing. I would totally buy any CD he puts out and I know even if he doesn't win idol someone will give him a record deal cause he's totally worth it.

im a musician and its every musicians dream to achieve what he has...and i always wanted to be like say jack johnson or bob dillon and other icons like that...but its really cool to see someone like jason i can relate to with the faith and see how he displays it so well!!! A true role model for people everywhere

Let me explain: After fighting in the "trenches of music" for 17 years, it's hard to watch people of average talent pass you (and others) by because they've got great hair and good smile. Trust me. I've seen, heard (and sometimes performed with) real talent...and this ain't it.

I think you're right to a certian extent. I don't think he wanted to be the American Idol, so he just did some songs the other night that he really liked and that he could have fun with. I cried like a baby, haha predictable me. I think he had the potential, but then again, look how many American Idols who have made it HUGE in Hollywood... about 4 out of the 7? More people who were in the bottome 3 or 4 and runner ups, make it bigger! I can't wait to see Jason go far. I love you Jason Castro!!!!

I really need an mp3 of this! Don't suppose that's going to happen. There's the American Idol stage and then there's music. I love The Davids too, and they have the flashy voices and "big notes" that AI loves. But Jason has a voice and a style that I could listen to all day. It's smooth and flexible and gorgeous. It's not better or worse, just different. The others are great; personally I'm more excited to hear Jason's first CD.
