It still amazes me how someone as sweet and adorable like David Howard Thornton can turn into someone so twisted and brutal like Art the Clown ❤️😄 Thank you for this video!
Horror fans and the actors are always so genuinely nice. David Howard Thornton seems so cool. Hopefully these films and his character continue to grow and it works out well for him and all involved.
Ever been to a deathcore show? People may be swinging arms for the pit but even in that environment, but its nicest group of people you'll ever meet. We all enjoy the havoc and just absolute craziness, but we look out for our own and make sure everyone is having a good time and staying safe.
@@jordanmcquay9077 No, I've never been to anything like that but I could imagine what you're saying is relatively accurate as well and would make sense.
How absolutely freaking cool that you got to see the Art transformation right in front of you. Thank you guys for always taking us along on your amazing journeys to all things horror.
I know this is old. Wes Craven's New Nightmare might be something to your liking. Not exactly this but it is the Elm Street actors playing themselves being haunted by Freddy Krueger
I don’t know if he still has the time to do it, but he used to reply to literally every single comment on his yt channel and was always just the nicest, most down to earth dude ever. And his range is insane. He does looney tunes characters, the joker, and Art the clown for Christ’s sake.
It's amazing how such a brutal movie has so much heart to it. It perfectly captures that "everyone on set is clearly having the time of their lives" feeling that I love in horror.
Art the Clown's expressions really make the character unique with personality. Great work and cool to see this "meat and greet" behind the scenes. Thanks!
Many people complained that Terrifier 2 had no actual story, but I liked this movie very much. Great job, guys, as always! Greetings from Berlin, Germany. :)
Exactly! Just casual fans that don't know horror. They do don't understand that gore flicks generally don't have a storyline they are just shock films. But Terrifier 2 does actually start to unfold into a story it's just the details aren't spoon fed and make you think like some of the great horror films like Halloween does. And has it's a franchise series it needs somewhere to go. So those people need to understand that if all the details are spoiled all at once it leaves the series nowhere to grow.
@Joshua Mattel yeah the first was more of an introduction. Terrfier 2 begins to get into start of a story. I don't know about too much story as there's still not much development or getting into great detail of what's going on.
I don’t know who in their right mind would say it didn’t have a story. They must have watched the wrong movie. There was so much story. And setting up even MORE story to come in Terrifier 3. Damien Leone even said he has so many ideas that it may not even fit into one movie and may have to split it up into a Terrifier 4 also. The first movie is the one that didn’t really have a story.
@Kevmaster2000 some fans today say that when a story isn't broken down in the detail and laid out for them. Anything that they have to actually think and figure it out then to them there's no story or it's garbage for making them think. LOL!
The thing that I loved about Terrifier 1 was that it DIDNT have a storyline. It was pure horror goodness. It didn’t try to dive into psychology or any social issues, it didn’t have a convoluted backstory full of plot holes. It was a horror movie for horror fans, no filler no frills no BS. Terrifier 2 was better than I hoped for, definitely one of my favorite horror movies of all time. It was a labor of love made by horror nerds for horror nerds. Terrifier is of the only truly original horror series that hits hard with everything it delivers, this team is a breath of fresh air in an over-saturated and watered-down genre. We need more movies like Terrifier 1/2
Seriously....how cool would be to step out into the hallway of a horror con and bump into Thornton in his actual Art gear??? As a clown character myself its like meeting your idol. Some of the people in the crowd knew it was the real art when they saw him. Tha was just too damn cool!!! I hope Thornton and the character never go away! Great video as always guys. I'll see you the Jersey Horror con.
I love how they kept almost every look of him from the 1’s movie. Like the small touch where he got stabbed in the boot. The blood on the gloves. It’s amazing to see these kind of stuff ❤
I have seen a few videos of them doing Art the Clown's makeup but this one was the best. Also very cool to see from the very beginning to everybody walking through the convention and most people not realizing that they just walked right past Art the Clown!
The teeth are what completes his total get up. It adds both a creep factor and humour to Arts mannerisms. So cool how the director also does the makeup too!
You guys this is so cool! Thanks for bringing us along , and thank you Damien Leon & David Howard Thornton for creating another great iconic scary murderer to add to the other great ones!🖤💚🙌 Happy Halloween!🎈🎈
Tbh not really, all hallows Eve was the prologue. Don’t know if you’ve seen that or not, but if not I’d give it a watch it’s good. It also hints at some of the possible lore behind art the clown.
I absolutely enjoyed this. I love watching behind the scenes footage of how it all comes together. I have been to many Horror Cons and Comic Cons before.
This video is amazing! As someone who just met David at CT horror fest and did a photo op with him in full costume as art, I appreciate him and his time even more now for seeing how much goes into getting dressed up as Art for a photo op. As for everyone saying he seems nice and really sweet, he seriously is!! 💜
One of the coolest videos you guys have put out yet!!! Great to see the makeup process of Art the Clown, most people seemed like they didn’t even realize when he was walking through the crowd that he was the real Art!! 🎃🐈⬛🙏🏽🤘🏻😎
Another great video guys! I I had the pleasure of meeting David Howard Thornton at Spooky Empire a few years back when the first Terrifier came out and wow what a nice guy! Also loved seeing the behind the scenes of him turning into Art 🖤 what a cool experience. Happy Halloween Grimms!
I was so excited to see this video! Im a huge horror fan and I LOVE the terrifier movies. I liked watching how they put Art together and hear a little bit about the movie process. Thank y'all again for another great Grimm adventure as always! Happy Halloween 🎃
Amazing video! Actually very inspiring to me as well. I've been kind of on the fence with what I want to do with my channel lately, and this has inspired me to go in a new direction 🤘
This was awesome! I love seeing behind the scenes footage of things, especially horror. The terrifier movies were..well..terrifying 😂 yet the people behind the scenes were so down to earth. Awesome video, keep up the great work 🙌🏼🙂
Great video guys ! I met David At Njhorrorcon last September (which btw totally looking forward to meeting you guys in March !) he was so cool and at the time terrifier 2 wasn’t out yet we talked for about a good half hour about the movie and how exited we both were for it to come out the excitement and passion coming from David was so genuine and I really picked up on that in our conversation, now having seen the movie I can see why it definitely lived up to the hype ! 🔪⛓️
DAMN!!! Super jealous! I was just getting back into town and couldn’t get to Creep I.E. Con before it was over. Terrifier 1 & 2 are something else!!! Saw part 2 in the theater, felt like I was back in the 80s!! I hope the franchise continues and keeps getting weirder!!! And Grimm Coll, keep up the great vids!! Hope to run into you at some point. Cheers!

What a great video. I haven't yet seen Terrifier 2, but will for sure. This convention looks totally fun. Sadly, I cannot make it to see you two when you're in Ontario, Canada. It's on a weekend I work and my caseload has increased, but I wish you Michael and Jessica great success

Agreed. I met him at Creep IE con, and he was the sweetest.
Lol adorable?! the guy is creepier without the mask on lol geez
We all have a dark side we can tap into he's very good at it I'm sure mentally takes a toll need to sleep it off for a while lmao 🤣
That’s what people said about Ted Bundy…
People thought the same about Bill skarsgård who played pennywise
Horror fans and the actors are always so genuinely nice. David Howard Thornton seems so cool. Hopefully these films and his character continue to grow and it works out well for him and all involved.
I remember meeting Doug Bradley and Kane Hodder. Nicest guys ever !!
Yes, the film is really cool and fun

@@jordanmcquay9077 No, I've never been to anything like that but I could imagine what you're saying is relatively accurate as well and would make sense.
@@jordanmcquay9077pretty much the whole metal scene
the guy who dressed as bloody art and brought all the props really went above and beyond with that commitment
I love how sweet, kind and fun the "scary" people are.
It still blows my mind that Damian Leone does all the SFX himself, writes and directs the terrifier movies! What a legend
Yes. He makes all those whiny actors, like Racheal Zegler, look like the entitled and actually worthless chunks they are!
How absolutely freaking cool that you got to see the Art transformation right in front of you.
Thank you guys for always taking us along on your amazing journeys to all things horror.
So interesting to see how it's done! I just wanna know how they made that face mold though.
There could be a great meta film idea in this where everyone thinks it’s the actor who plays art but instead it actually is art
Kinda like Halloween Resurrection except a lot better
Last action hero
I know this is old. Wes Craven's New Nightmare might be something to your liking. Not exactly this but it is the Elm Street actors playing themselves being haunted by Freddy Krueger

David is a good actor. He also seems like a pretty cool guy outside of the costume. I follow him on social media.
I’ve met him twice. He’s a good friend
@a.j._6668 Hopefully one day I get to meet him.

Brutal is the exact word I used when I first saw it. My eyes were bigger than my stomach for that one 😅
I wonder how many people saw David/Art and thought, "This guy's cosplay is on point!" Little do they know... 😀
little do they know what..
@marleydavis5735 little do they know that david is the actual actor for art the clown!
They will now 😊
Art the Clown's expressions really make the character unique with personality. Great work and cool to see this "meat and greet" behind the scenes. Thanks!

I did not expect David Howard Thornton to look so normal
He's actually really handsome.
I love how nerdy David Howard Thornton is without the Art the Clown makeup!
can't believe this is the person behind the terrifying clown, he seems so wholesome and chill he pulled it off so well XD
Yep, he’s a pretty cool dude
YES! The All Hollow's Eve and Terrifier films have been my absolute faves in recent years. This was great!!
I agree. So awesome
David is so adorable. You can definitely tell where Art gets his sassy attitude from seeing more of his personality! I love him & Art so much!
