Hey. If you decide you really enjoy paintball, hit my website after for my book. As a PDF it's only $12.95. paperback at Amazon is 25$. They charge a lot to print in color
Jut had my first game yesterday, it was amazing. Once i got past the first shot, that fear was gone and i felt like i could really get into it. Thanks for the tips!
Going to try paintball for the first time in two days. i have no clue if i have anything to wear and i honestly dont know how itll go. im guessing its like teams of 10 and you just try to get the other team out. Thank you for the video. I cant wait to see how my first game goes, looks like a lot of fun.
I just went for the first time today, it was rough. I had no idea what I was doing, had no gun for myself, it was bad. I wish I would've watched this before hand. I will say, I'm buying stuff and sure as hell going back out there
Watch the playlist. Then buy my book, DANGERMAN'S PAINTBALL BIBLE. It will put you WAY ahead of everyone in rec ball. $12.95 .PDF at DangerMansLair.com paperback at Amazon. Pro players have started on my videos. The book is next level. You won't get owned again.
Domp6262 TTV No worries. Be sure to watch the videos. Shadow Walking, Posting Up, and How To Shoot are a few solid instructionals. As for the book, I'm not pushing it. But you seem to have the bug. If you decide this is a game you want to make your weekend thing in the future. The book IS A FAST READ. It will not bore you. But if you are still feeling your way through the game, my videos will still give you the edge you're looking for.
Ive been playing for over 20 years. Its such an amazing hobby. I keep a tippmann 98 in my bag that ive had for about 12 years. Its literally the most reliable marker ever made. I always run my DYE Dam but the last few matches of the day, i bust out the ole 98. Shoots like a dream with an apex 2 barrel.
Super helpful!!! I barely even know anything about paintball, since I’m only fourteen, so this will be super helpful in two days when I will be going against my family! 😆 THANK YOU
Going to a friends paintball birthday party, thx for the tips man. I have grown up with a paintball gun to use when needed such as when a dog tries to attack our animals. I used to get shot every week so I could know what the feeling is that others feel when I shoot them.
i was invited to play paintball in 2 days for a mates birthday and because of the way i am i want to be the best player there and i want to try my very best to not get hit because i heard that paintballs hurt really bad so im going to go full try hard and thanks to this video i have a slight upper hand on knowledge so thanks man
really liked this video first video i watched im about to go today with some friends to go play paintball and i never played before and they havent either so i will be showing them the things you just showed me
Yesterday i tried paintballing for the first time. Not a proper game though, just 2 vs 2. It was me, my little brother (also for the first time), and then couple other people that I know, who are actually among some of the best paintballers in my country afaik. Anyways, it was very fun, but above all really physically demanding, my legs still aren't working properly since yesterday lol
If you get the bug, my guide book is on Amazon. DangerMan's Paintball Bible. Color digital PDF at my magazine site, DangerMansLair.com The book reads as a walk through on a woodsball field. It covers the tactics you would use at each point of field contact.
Watch more of my videos. Don't Double Bunker to Shadow Walking and others. No fluff! If you get the bug I have a book on Amazon DangerMan's Paintball Bible. And remember if you're not getting shot at you're not having fun! DON'T play from the back.
Is SC Village any good? It's the closest feild. I'm just starting with a Spyder Imagine I bought at a yardsale. Any gear I need other than the mask and tank/gun/hopper?
One of the best. You'll outgrow that Spyder quick. LOL You're near one of the best paintball manufacturers, Dye. If you can't afford one of those, a Mini, Axe, or many of the other markers in the $300 price range are work horses that won't let you down. A Dye Rotor is a must have loader and their masks are top shelf too. A small tank will do too. Big tanks are a waste of space for short games.
Good to know you showed new players that established players can have a sense of humor without being an ass. Thanks for keeping your comment civil is my point.
I am going to my friends birthday and its a paintball battle.this was my first time playing and I was super nervous but, this video really helped me. Thank you 👍🏻
Ok: I have to go to a paintball event tomorrow - my first time and I'd rather not go because, well, paintball is combat shooting without live ammo. So I just watched the Ulitimate Beginner Guide: I now know a few things about the marker (which you also consistantly call a "gun"), the mask and not to take it off and also to ask a team-mate to put on my armband, but I have ZERO information about what to expect! This needs a serious re-think.
The channel has beginner playlists. You'll find what you are looking for in the BEGINNER PLAYLIST. Paintball guns are markers. We call them both. Marker is a term to use when dealing with sensitive people. The video you watched is an important starting point. The groundwork in teaching new players is safety. Watch ANY OTHER video on my channel and you will learn tactical based play along with mechanics. If you want to deep dive fast, buy my book on PDF at my sure, DangerMansLair.com. $12.95. It's on Amazon in paperback if you decide later you want it in print. Have fun at your event. If you watch my videos YOU WILL have a leg up.
If one is out of air why must one leave? You still have a mouth to speak with to rely information to teammates. Opponent doesn't need to know you are out of air so you can move from cover to cover and he might thing an empty player is multiple active opponents. That gives your teammates better flanking opportunities.
Hello Tommy. The answer is based on the general fairness in the game rules. As games are predicated on surviving, this is one aspect of survival. You must preserve your ammunition as you would your life (not being hit). If every player ran out of air and paint there would be no way to gauge a the winner as the game is often based on headcount of remaining players. Consider that as a beginner you may think your answer is valid, most would not agree. If you had a large consensus in changing the rules, then you're view would be validated. For now, better to go with the flow. It's worth noting Tommy that in Rec Ball, at most fields they will often bring a spare marker onto the field for rental players to swap out with a ref - IF the player's gun goes down due to running out of air or a gun jam that needs fixing after the game. It's always a good idea to ask the refs questions before the games. They are almost ALWAYS field regulars and great for advice, as long as you are not an ankle biter about your questions. I hope I answered your question to your satisfaction. If you have more, feel free to ask. I highly suggest you hit DangerMansLair.com website. Our writing staff is growing and many many Beginner Paintball Articles are there. The site is constantly being curated with new content all geared to 'learning' better paintball regardless of your skill level. Thanks for the comment. Just Calm Down 808 hey I’m going to go tommarow with my brother and his friends should I be scared of the paintballs or no. Will they hurt or no, please get back to me.
Thanks man. I'm new to paint ball and bringing my 15y old son with me. Its not easy to get a teenager off the couch to do things with his old man. Lol Hopefully he will like this more than the computer games he plays basically doing the same thing but in real life.

I operate a website, DangerMansLair.com Many many articles there. However... for you. Now... :-) At age 7, I'd consider a used Empire Mini. Small profile and VERY easy to own. But it is the smallest electronic made to be suitable for a 7-year-old. A used Mini on a Facebook Buy Sell Trade group or perhaps Ebay will go for about $200 or $175. Truly a fantastic buy at that price. But... if price is no object and you want a marker he can use for years. I mean YEARS, the Dye DSR. Hit my site DangerMans Lair and click on the ad for it off the home page. It will send you to Amazon and I'll get a cut too, regardless of which you buy. I personally moved to the DSR and my son shoots one too. I can't go on enough about the marker and I sure can't in a reply here. But it is highly regarded AND Dye is also the most respected name in paintball. Mask... A used Dye i4 is excellent for a small person. The i5 is the newer version and larger. Go with the i4 and you can find LOADS of them used all over the Buy Sell Trade forums. Even new you can find some deals because the i5 is the newer model. I have used ONLY Dye goggles for years. I won't give up my older i4's either. Which brings me to the Rotor. That too is made by Dye. Find an older Rotor for sale and wow. They are made of nylon. You can drive over them with a car and they'll hold up. Dye killed the market when they made the Rotor. It was a game changer. And while the new R2 is a good price, for someone starting out... save money and get a great loader. One special thing about them is you can part them down to the smallest part without a screwdriver. Field stripping is a dream if you break paint in them. Heaven forbid but they do part down easy!!! Again, if you find a truly old one... those are gems. They are full nylon. Nuts. Okay... tank. I personally favor stubby's. The business calls them peanuts but to me, the names are backward. Watch any video of mine. I've never used anything but a 45/50. I am sponsored by Ninja. Again, I'm going to recommend them. For damn good reason. Visit their YT channel. They are owned and built in the USA and they are the best in customer service. Consider your families best interest in safety. They cost more but the rigorous testing alone is ample proof they are amazing. Take your time. Don't buy a package from ANYONE unless someone on Buy Sell Trade is desperate to sell all they got and you don't mind getting an item or two you didn't really want. Feel free to reach out to me through my digital magazine website DangerMansLair.com if you have random questions. I also answer on Instagram, DangerManXX. And honestly... the website is a huge help. much easier to sustain air fill ups than CO2. probably better for the gun and environment too :D
