This resort and the Animal kingdom Lodge are by far my favorite resorts anywhere. It's amazing what imagineers and designers did with this place. Can't wait to visit next year.

The very best Walt Disney World hotel we have ever been to. And we have been to quite a few. For our 50th anniversary this past Spring, the resort manager treated us to an excellent pool/courtside room on the 5th floor, with lots of perks to welcome us back to the Wilderness Lodge for our 3rd visit. Going forward, and starting in 2025, the Wilderness Lodge will be our choice whenever we visit Walt Disney World. It has the theming, central location, transportation options, and dining options (the new lakeside grill is outstanding) that WDW resort hotel guests love.

Whispering canyon is what Trails end over at Fort Wilderness used to be. They ruined trails end.
Interesting fact. Good to know. We just ate there 2 weeks ago for brunch. So good and such fun.
